  1. I just went to NBA.com and cast my All-Star ballot.

    Western Conference

    Forward: Tim Duncan

    Forward: Dirk Nowitzki

    Guard: Kobe Bryant

    Guard: Chris Paul

    Center: Yao Ming

Toughest Omissions: Duncan/Nowitzki over Amare Stoudemire. Talk to me about stats all you want, but both Duncan and Nowitzki have been the glue holding their teams together. Duncan is the smartest player and best defender out of the three, and he's the floor general for the Spurs. Nowitzki is having a hell of a season, and he's more consistent than Stoudemire. Tough to leave Amare out of my starting roster, but I'd take these two guys first any day. He's easily on the roster, but he's not a starter for me.

    Eastern Conference

    Forward: LeBron James

    Forward: Kevin Garnett

    Guard: Dwyane Wade

    Guard: Devin Harris

    Center: Dwight Howard

Toughest Omissions: Garnett over Chris Bosh, Harris over Joe Johnson. Garnett is probably the best defensive player in basketball, and he is the heart and soul of this historic Celtics team. Sorry Chris Bosh, but you don't belong on this team as a starter over James or Garnett. As for Harris, he's been the best, most consistent player on New Jersey this year, and his numbers are just a little better than Johnson. He barely edges the clutch, dominant Hawks guard out for me.

  2. Hard for me to argue with any of those picks. Nice list.
  3. love devin harris
  4. why not yi jianlian?

  6. How about the young studs in the East!

    Love the picks.

DWade gonna bring southbeach another championship in next 5 years
  7. RONDO!!!!<br

and i hate kobe, how about Brandon Roy?
  8. devin harris wayyyyyyyy better than rondo and who cares if you dont like a player or not.. he is still top 5 player in world.....

  9. how bout dwight howard over garnett??? nobody??

  10. Devin Harris isn't wayyyyyyyy better than Rondo. And to answer your question, I care... and I never said he wasn't, but I do think he is a terrible team player
  11. Can we move Lebron to the 2 and put Chris Bosh or Kevin Garnett at the 3 please? :( I know Devin Harris is the man and having an incredible year but Chris Bosh deserves to start imo hes insane. Also I don't think Garnett over Bosh is that difficult because I have a hard time taking points away from KG for playing so few minutes because the Celtics are so good.

I would LOVE to move LeBron to 2, kick Harris out of there and put Bosh in at forward. Unfortunately, NBA.com didn't let that happen. It also was easy for me to put KG over Bosh, but I expected plenty of backlash from everyone that hugs Bosh's nuts like he's the best player in the league. If you had to take Garnett or Bosh on your team, you would be crazy to go with Bosh.

And LOL @ whoever said Harris is a terrible team player or whatever. They run the offense through him, and Frank WANTS him to score points. That's his job on that Nets offense. He's also leading them in assists, averaging 6.6 per game. He's playing almost as well as he possibly could on that Nets team, whether it be scoring points from the floor, getting to the line or passing the ball off. He's averaging 10.2 free throws per game (84.5% from the line) on top of everything else. You're totally clueless if you think Harris is the second coming of Stephon Marbury or something. He's not selfish - he's just doing his job, and he's doing it at an extremely high level.

Love watching him play. Gonna be interesting to see who gets the nod as the backup center between Biedrins and Camby.

I do, I live in LA most of the year. It doesn't matter much what he does against Minnesota in mid November up 11 in the 3rd. Let me see him work well with his teammates when something is really on the line and when things aren't going so well.

  21. devin harris is the truth
  22. solid picks...

    and may I add...

    next year...

Bosh is going to look sooooooooooo good in Cleveland

  23. I think you could argue both Joe and Devin all day and you wouldn't get anywhere. I personally like Joe better but both mean a ton to their respective teams.

    Good picks.
