My Roomate (long, sorry)

    I've pretty much grown up w/ my roomate since 5th grade and we've always been like brothers, but since our senior year of high school (we're now late juniors in college) he's been a pretty arrogant guy when it comes to looks and clothes or w/e...but he's never been able to land a girl or even bone one. i'm sure he's still a virgin. Literally every week now i get this sad sap depressed rant on how he likes this one girl (usually one of 2 girls to be exact) and how he really doesn't like them but he wants to be able to "get" them. Basically he keeps complaining about how he wants to be a wannabe pimp and I always usually give the same argument about how volume in a poker is compared to volume in girl flirting and how he just needs to be himself and flirt w/ as may girls as possible to finally find "the one". I also add that he needs to stop trying to be super pimp one day and then the next be super caring uber fag which he tends to be when he finally lands a date with the girls he does get the opportunity to date (usually the one of 2 previously mentioned).

    Well this shit has gone on for the past 6 months...I keep giving him the same pep talk about how he looks too much into any girl that rejects him and how he doesn't say "fuck her, I'm gonna go for the next random hot girl I see". He always goes into the same pathetic well I don't care but it bothers me that she rejects me...its like a fucking circle argument and I can't stand it. I finally told him to stop wasting my time and that he needs to grow some balls and keep attacking his goal, "finding a girl to fuck/date" and to quit fucking complaining about every rejection (usually from 2 of the same fucking girls)...My question is: am I a bad friend for telling him to basically quit bitching and if so what the hell do i tell this guy? he's confused about what he wants and about girls in general. has anyone experienced this sort of crap before?

    and yeah i realize there might be some typos but i'm wasted, the same state this shit comes up every week.

    Ya lol, I had a buddy who was so bad with the girls OMG. I thought he would never get some. He can always reduce the variance and find some fat girls :)

    I did not read the OP but I am positive that it sucks compared to this room mate story that needs mroe attention than it got here last time..

    lol, the "planting more seeds" anecdote reminds me of a buddy of mine. If you watched him throughout the night, the more he got rejected, the bigger his fucking smile got. The guy never kicked any serious game, he pretty much just roamed around, drank, danced, but whenever he saw a chick he liked, he would get in her view, lock eyes with her, and just smile. If she blew him off, the smile got bigger, and off he was onto the next target. He could get rejected 10 times but he didn't care. I never saw someone get so much HOT ass, the guy is fearless.

    Me and another buddy figured the reason he got happier and his smile got bigger, was he knew the more he got rejected the closer he was to the girl that would fuck him.

    LOL, I still shake my head, fucking guy, makes you wonder.
