Mystery Trip/Vacation Ideas

    Need some help here. Long story short, Me and a buddy are planning a "Mystery Trip". Basically 10 of us each throw in $500, two "captains" then get to take this $5k and book a trip for all 10 people over a 3 day weekend. We are going March 26-28. Our original plan was go rent a house boat on Lake Lanier in Atlanta and party all weekend. We're leaving from Minneapolis and flights to Atlanta are normally no more than $220. Now we can't find one with the right times for less than $320. This idea would be good because we can save a lot of money on food and booze drinking/grilling on the boat.

    So you have $5k, a 3-day weekend and 10 people. This $5k needs to include everything.

    What's your play?

    take the $5k... put it downfor double or nothin...

    that way you can have $10k to work with

    sounds like a cool concept but you need more $ imo. I hope you can make it work though. sorry no ideas here.

    I agree, but a couple of guys just got out of school so money is tight. It doesn't need to be anything fancy, I mean in reality we could go camping for a weekend and go skydiving. There's no limitation either small or large.

    Rent a motorhome. Drive to Chicago. Find cheap hotel. Paint the town red for two nights. Come home.

    Just take the 5k and have a sick weekend in vegas with the other captain. Tell everyone else your bank was robbed, and just continue with the lie as long as you can. Then change your phone number so you dont need to deal with it anymore. EZ game.
