  1. Draft reminder for members and recruitment thread.

Looking for two (maybe three) members to fill two openings for $25, H2H, Auction league, scheduled for 10 pm est tonight.

Ship to Sobizzle21 on stars or if you don't have stars, d_a k1d on FTP.

    Original Thread

PM or post in here if interested.
  2. Here's the incentive:

Look at the original thread and see how many of us (myself included) have never played in auction league and barely know the rules. My experience with fantasy basketball is one free yahoo league I played last year. This league is easy money - come and get it.
  3. We have eight members so far. We are gonna roll with that number if no others sign up before the draft tonight?
  4. I am in still. Putting money on FTP right now so I can ship to Stevie. Cant deposit on stars.

  5. my plan is simple

    $60 kobe

    $55 gasol

the rest of the lakers $85

    GG league

    Reason: Lakers 73 wins?
  6. Count me in shipping now
  7. Sent $25 to D_A K1D on FTP from phareal15

  8. Never done an auction league but would like to try it out. Only problem is tonight is my own basketball league and I won't be home til prolly right around the start of the draft at the earliest. Do you HAVE to be at the draft with this style league? Or can I come like a half hour late>

I think you can pre-order your auction draft settings so it would draft the player next on your list as long as no one has drafted that player. A little risky but that is an option.
  10. im in if there is still a spot
  11. Kev it would be tough because most of the fun/strategy is based in the moment and a lot players would be off the board after 30 minutes.

The league is full as of now but Harv I will let you know if someone drops out or doesn't respond to the invite before 8est and you can take the spot.

  14. Just a thought the $300 prizepool....

$30 Best Record over all record #1 seed $30

$20 to the other 2 division winners $70

$10 for winner of each of the categories (8 of them) $150

    $100 overall winner (playoffs) $250
    $50 2nd place overall (playoffs) $300

The reason for the $10 categories is that everyone has a chance to make something, even if their team doesn't make playoffs . (only 4 make it of 12)

*Since an Auction basketball draft is new to most of us and there are 12 teams, which makes the bidding an all out war tonight :) *
  15. I'm interested, if no1 shows lmk
  16. Quick question?
How does the head to head match ups work?
Are you matched up vs your opponent a week at a time or a day or a half week?

    its one week*

however All-star week, and first week are cut short in most common league
  18. Just waiting on Birdwings to join and then we are full. If he doesn't join by 8:30 I'm going to have to start looking or else ESPN will cancel the draft.

For the 8 categories you mean the total at the end of the season? If so that would be kind of cool unless someone has a pretty evenly stacked team.
  20. *bump*

The season ended. Commish - how do the winners get paid? We voted on this structure at the site:

    1st Place After Playoffs: 50%
    2nd Place After Playoffs: 20%
    3rd Place After Playoffs: 10%
Best Regular Season W-L Record: 20%

    Which means:

1st Place After Playoffs: Ryan Lynde ($150)
    2nd Place After Playoffs: Andy Sager/iplaywaytootight ($60)
    3rd Place After Playoffs: R Bowen ($30)
Best Regular Season W-L Record: Andy Sager/iplaywaytootightr ($60)
