Expecting a lot of signings and a barrage of trades. Should be interesting. Hoping cp3 comes to beantown! Love rondo but cp3 is an all time great. Celtics not going to win it again as currently comprised anywho. Come on chris get on board!!!! Dwight rumors swirling too, really would hate to see the Brooklyn brawlers land him. I think the lakers have a shot too. Please god no. Talk about your team here.
-
The amount of rumors the last few days is off the charts. Gonna be an amazing free agency period.
For my Bulls I have read stories on all the following players in the last two days (probably all made up):
- Vince Carter
- T-Mac
- Caron Butler
- Jamal Crawford
- Luis Scola
- Granger
- Brandon Roy
Probably forgetting some and like I said most are probably made up and some not even possible with the new system. That being said, I'm really pumped to see all the moves that happen in such a short period of time.
As for Rondo and CP3. It is a possibility for sure but I have also read stuff saying people close to Paul say he doesn't want to come to Boston. Again you just don't know what is real and what is BS at this point. Would be interesting for sure though. -
Scola is the only of those guys id want as a bulls fan or a healthy butler. They clearly need perimeter scoring. Scola doesn't make sense as they already have booz and Gibson. I love the bulls chances in the east if they upgrade their shooting. Sorry no ray Allen for u!
Yeah I obv heard that about cp3 honestly I'd be willing to risk it to make a run at a title. Team isn't built for the future anyways. Rondo is not nearly as valuable in 2 years if Garnett retires and Allen and pierce are both old and not on top of the game. I'd ship jeff green and rondo and roll the dice. We will have money to spend next off season with kg and Allen coming off the books. Dwight Howard and cp3 one time baby (a man can dream)
Wow didn't see granger on the list you made... He'd be a great addijtion for the bulls too.
Trade for cp3 and sign Tyson Chandler boom ship number 18 -
I don't want any of those players on the bulls...what we need to do is get rid of boozer and add howard...that's a guaranteed minimum 8-peat right there

Reason: Also D Rose is gonna get PAID -
Kevin McHale is our fucking coach....I said months before they hired him that if they did, I would root for the Thunder this year.
Go Thunder, fuck the Rockets, Daryl Morey and Kevin McHale -
Yeah the most ideal fit possible would be Afflalo but I don't see it happening. Denver has been bent over quite a bit this offseason with the whole China shit show and now Nene wanting elsewhere, they will throw money at Afflalo to save a little face.
Other than that J. Rich is a distinct possibility who I'm meh on. Rip Hamilton is a possibility. Ben Gordon is a possibility. A lot is gonna depend on who gets amnestied and who teams under the cap decide to throw money at (like Roy if he gets amnestied will definitely get picked up no way he slides to the Bulls).
Basically there are a million different options and only one that I reallllly like for the Bulls (Afflalo) and like 3-4 that I'm meh on (J Rich, T-Mac, Crawford, etc). We'll see what happens. -
Good bye Andrew, Luke Walton and Blake....Hello Dwight!!! Come on Lakers!
-
Lol saxton okc is easily my second favorite team. Durant is going to crush so hard this year it's not even funny.
-
OKC vs. Chicago would be such an amazing series to watch. Book it!
-
J rich would bE good for the bulls too... He's severely underrated

Howard to the Nets has been squashed. Ive seen what seems to be serious interest from the Mavs and Lakers. The Clippers have reportedly told Orlando they will be will to trade anyone but Griffin to get him. Orlando just needs give the man all the money and sign real help instead of his buddies. If Orldano doesnt move Nelson I'll be shocked. Hopefully Arenas was serious about changing his awful diet and becomes much more productive. Hedo is a heap of shit with what Orlando owes him and really should amnesty him rather than Arenas b/c at least theres still some upside to Gilbert.
The Bulls have nothing to offer for Howard and if he doesnt have a new deal in Oralndo he will be traded. -
Don't see any reason Howard would stay in Orlando. They just have too many awful pieces making heaps of money. Atleast marinersheep is still on the bandwagon tho lol
-
No way, Arenas makes double what Hedo makes and while he may have a higher upside he still sucks pretty hard these days. Not only that it just seems like he doesn't care anymore. Fuck him amnesty that bitch and send him on his way.
The Bulls have as much to offer for Howard as any team in the league (not that I think they will get him) -
Yeah. Amnesty truly helps the Magic soooooooooo much. Dealing Nelson would be huge as well. The biggest issue is Howard doesnt like Stan Van.
-
Amartin...have you seen all the 35th hour episodes? SUCH A BALLER
-
Was talking to friends about Nash and possible destinations. Suns owe it to him to trade him to a contender after they butchered their team and let amare go only to sign a bunch of scrubs with that money. I could only come up with Dallas the lakers or the Knicks as contenders who need a great pg. Nash in la would be scary. Would like to see Nash and dirk reunited but doubt it'll happen.

Miami?

Agree tho would like to see Nash go to a contender -
The guy wasnt eating at all. He told trainers he was only eating one meal a day at night. He went through a whole change this off-season and should be much more productive. Im actually looking forward to seeing him this year.

What do they have to offer? Noah, Jimmy Butler, and Boozer is about what it would take and I dont see the Bulls offering that up. -
Yes I have. Durant is my favorite non Celtic of all time Possibly. He's cut from the old school and has such a great attitude and a genuine love for the game that you can see with all his actions. He is getting ready to crush the league and I think westbrook and harden will get better this year too. Okc are my favorites in the west (slightly ahead of lal and the dirks) -

im a diehard suns fan and its not like i want to see him on another team. but were not winning shit and could get something for him and move on instead of being stuck as a fringe .500 team with him. we need to bottom out for 2 years in order to get back on top (not sure how but it doesnt involve nash). problem with nash is that there really arent a ton of teams that he makes sense for. -
Jalman im just baffled by the suns decision to let amare go when they had just made the conference finals. They didn't trade him only to let him go for nothing when they still had a strong ass team. agree with what u say about Nash he deserves a shot at a title.

Bulls could offer Noah and Asik/Gibson, the Bobcat's 1st rounder and a 1st rounder of their own
Edited By: tmac456 Nov 30th, 2011 at 10:04 PM
I don't see it happening, but I can dream.
Deng is also an option. I doubt Orlando would want Boozer -
Edited By: coolhandkev Nov 30th, 2011 at 10:04 PMMaybe, but I don't trust him until I see it happen and for 20MM + per year I'm not risking it based on him claiming a poor diet was holding him back. It's hard because Hedo sucks so bad too, just an overall shitty situation but like you said at least the amnesty clause is here really bails them out.Originally Posted by Realbigfish4

Noah, Deng, Boozer, Asik, Gibson all are assets that could be used in some sort of play for Dwight. I'm not sure the two sides could agree on anything and I'm also not sure Orlando wants to trade him to another Eastern conference team but to say they don't have assets for him is off they definitely have plenty of value they could send Orlando.
Edit: yeah forgot about Bobcats pick - has a ton of value -
I dont see the bulls moving Deng and dont see Orlando wanting Asik (esp if they are getting Noah). Gibson is a real option, but they can get a lot more value from the Lakers or Mavs imo. Watching Orlando growing up I really see them asking for Boozer for some reason. Now that I actually think about it I see Orlando just letting Dwight walk in FA... Fuck they make the worst moves.
-
Asik has HUGE upside. So much that I think about the only trade he would be involved with is to Orlando as the Bulls organization is so high on him.
Again, I don't see it happening but it definitely could happen as we have enough pieces.
I don't think they let him walk, but you never know. -
... Just read the Magic are forcing Hedo onto anyone that want Dwight. No Hedo, amnesty Arenas... Hello all the monies to sign FA's in 2012 after the worst 2011 season ever.
Really hoping to ship Dwight for picks and young talent if this is the case. Although I would much rather just lock up Dwight for infinity. -
Im pretty excited for this years 76ers squad. I mean we are behind at least 4 teams in the east in the pecking order but who cares. This team plays hard and will fight, night in and night out. Doug Collins is the man and Will Smith is partial owner, which is awesome.

They already slashed 12,000 ticket prices in half and got rid of that idiot mascot HipHop so the season is a win already (prolly go to about 5-10 games this year!)
love me some NBA -
Yeah I think the sixers got a good shot at the playoffs again Sean. Love Thad young and Lou williams
-
yeah Thad has a ton of athletic ability and really stepped up in the playoffs. Only 2 more years and we can get Elton off the books at ~18mil lol.
Im just excited for the NBA, nothing like some bball.
