I think Deron will only go to Dallas or stay.
Id put him like 75% to go to Dallas.
Kirilenko can still play a bit, but he's 31. I think he can contribute to a winner. I think he'll stay in Europe if he can't sign with a good team. -
Where is Bird rumored to be going??

His presence is one big reason to be optimistic about Indy's future
I'd rather have Kyrie than anyone else on the Pacers, Nets, and Cavs. -
Irving is special. He plays a little like Paul. If they can acquire some decent pieces, Id entertain the idea of Cleveland making the playoffs
-
If they have competent management... Considering they couldn't put a championship team around Lebron over the course of 7 years, I have my doubts
Unless they land the number pick and Davis turns out actually to be the next Olajuwon -
, in which case they may not need competent management as much
-
someone make a draft lottery thread. I cant wait. some team's future is gona change
-
bird is rumored to retire. he promised some plan, followed through, and normally bails once its done. like he did with coaching. id hate to lose him. hes finally on a roll after a slow start.

I'd actually put DWill more like 76% to go to Dallas; yes, I've been watching strange Price is Right moments on youtube.

AK47 can be a great draw with the huge Russian population in Brooklyn btw; no way a businessman the caliber of Prokh wasn't taking notes when Linsanity broke out. -
I'm upset Tony Mitchell from North Texas is returning to school . Guy I wanted the Celtics to draft
-
not to mention Bojan Bogdanovic
-
kelly, you got any BKNets swag yet?

That's too bad regarding Bird. Hopefully he decides to stick around a while longer.
Nothing's changed in Clev, which is why they'll probably fuck it up again and end up writing another letter in navy blue comic sans font -
Actually stopped by the Modell's on Flatbush Ave. last Sunday to grab a dark gray fitted with the 'B', but it was mobbed, and they ended up being out of everything except the ugliest shit. Saw one of the street vendors on Canal St. with some caps for $15, but the sports related street swag they push on Canal usually falls apart almost instantly.

Im loving the color scheme. I want to get something.
Black cards; Black cars; Black on Black; Black broads; Whole lotta money in a black bag; Black strap: you know what that's for~ -
youre right that a healthy pacer team is probably better than a healthy net team, but if he cared about winning hed sign with the heat for the vet minimum, there is obviously more to it than that, most notably $28 million more when there is no guarantee he is going to get another max contract as he'll be 33 or something when this one is up.

all i'm saying is that signs seem to be pointing that hes going to resign with the nets, he just took a vacation in turkey/moscow where he met up with the nets gm and owner
wallace is for sure a better trade chip but the guy is actually still good and plays aggro as fuck. if the nets land a top 3 pick in this draft you can lock it up that howard is coming to NJ for some combination of brook lopez, marshon brooks, the pick, gerald wallace, and future picks. everyone is saying howard wants out of orlando one way or another, its just a matter of timeOriginally Posted by SyphonSoul
yeah ive never read anything stating williams considered ind. i guess its a dream because of the cap space and team need. he might think we have the best shot to beat miami. who knows? yeh i guess nets could make a quicker turn than i put it. but you gotta figure, you normally gotta lose a couple deep playoff series till you get there. and the nets have to deal with miami and chicago. tough outs. i think wallace's miles are catching up to boot. hes a better trade chip imo
its funny how all these butthurt nets fans keep saying if they get anthony davis they wouldnt trade him for howard, not realizing d12 is one of the best big men over the last 20 years and would be a potent combo with d-will. everyone wants to build a team up through the draft system like OKC did but for every OKC there are a dozen failures. there are no guarantees and you could end up like portland who had tons of hope in brandon roy and greg oden and wound up with 0. not to mention nets ownership is going to desperately get big names to start the season in brooklyn since brook lopez isnt a draw
nets fans should be most worried about a bynum for howard trade since it very well could happen if LA is fed up and tries to restructure, getting rid of bynum and gasol...though i dont know why hed ever want to be on the lakers where kobe's salary is $10 million more than williams and the bit parts arent nearly as good
OK IM DONE WRITING ABOUT THE NETS -
Need the Bobcats to run bad for another 3 seasons when the Bulls pick of theirs becomes unprotected. I'm pretty confident in this but picking up a stud this year and the next two years they could be a borderline lottery team and the pick won't be all that great. Need Jordan to do his thing and keep it a top 5 pick for us.
-
Agreed the Nets are much better now with that trade but I think the past seasons dwight antics have turned him off to a number of people to the point where even when they are clear winners in a trade they don't want him on their team. You may look down on fans like this. I happen to be this kind of fan and didn't want Dwight on my Bulls even before this season started because I flat out just don't like him, at all. Now even more than ever I don't like him. I acknowledged then and now that the Bulls are significantly better with him but I don't care I don't want him anywhere near us.

Way to force out a clear top 5 or so coach Dwight, that should be easily replaced. -
Stan van may be a top 5 coach but he is a bottom 5 personality manager. All of his teams will burn out on him because of it.There is no way you can constantly rip your guys in public and think they'll be cool with it. "But the other guys on the team liked him, only dwight disliked him" You mean those other guys who were only required to jack up threes while dwight handled rebounds, blocks, post-touches, and defense? Gee, that's a shocker. Their pf is allergic to anything closer than 18 ft ffs. And he's going to get paid for the numbers he put up with no other responsibility. In short, to sum up my rambling, fuck stan van defenders going at dwight.

Dwight may be a top 5 player but he is a bottom 5 personality to get along with from a coaches standpoint.

Stan may be harsh to his players but a lot of coaches are and so long as the players believe the coach has the team in their best interest they buy in and work hard for the guy. It's always been this way - Pat Riley wouldn't let his players fraternize off the court with other players back in his Knicks days and none of them lashed back at him, they played hard every night.
I also don't really see the relevance of what roles the other players on the Magic have in regards to how Dwight acts. That sounds more like a problem with cap and/or contract limitations than a problem with a coach. -
thanks goodness it's on ABC tn..Rondo will actually play
-
How many of the 24 guys on the rosters knew that was coheed and cambria???
-
i know how many give a fuck.
-
Ray Allen is complete shit
-
29% shooting lol

(meaning, if I were a celtics fan, I'd be worried) -
Allen needs to come out of this game.
-
Pietrus hasn't been much better tho.
If this gets close, you have to look back at the 3 missed lay-ups...not doing a good job closing the 3rd can kill them
