Who do you guys think? Kinda tough with so many one and done guys. Do you put more value on more years played/more numbers or just straight talent?
I personally think it is:
G. Jason Williams - Duke
G. J.J. Reddick
F. Carmelo Anthony
F. K. Durant
F/C. Tyler Hansborough
honorable mentions:
Derron Williams, Adam Morrison, Emeka Okafor, Jameer Nelson, Stephon Curry, Micheal Beasley, Blake Griffin, Shane Battier, Dewayne Wade, Joakim Noah
Player of the Decade - Hansborough.
although I want to pick Jason Williams -
Salim Stoudamire. Disheartened more teams with his 3 than anyone else evar. I remember one time back when I was still in high school, and thus watching UCLA games at Pauly and not UofA games at McHale, UCLA was playing against UofA, and he like, singlehandedly made it completely humanly impossible for us to win, no matter what we did. It was utterly ridiculous. He was just like "Lulz, gg cunts" and dropped bombs like not even remotely caring/looking at the basket just yawning chilling around not even giving a shit swish swish swish swish swish swish swish swish swish like yawnaments this is boring, basketball is easy yawn yawn swish swish swish. What an alien.

2001 MSU
Mateen Cleaves -
ucla went to 3 final fours in a row, no love there?

I didn't care nearly as much for Love as most people did, other than his rare ability to pull off the turn-head-to-look-behind-back-over-shoulder-and-pass-down-court-all-while-still-in-the-air-from-catching-the-rebound Bill Walton-esque move which he was scarily good at doing, though not Walton-good at doing. I expected him to be considerably better than he was. Obv he was great, but i really thought he would be even sicker.
By far my favorite UCLA player of the 1990's was Toby Bailey, but for the 2000's I guess my favorite UCLA player would have to have been Russell Westbrook. He was such a joke when he first started playing at UCLA, and transformed himself into such a horror-movie-badguy-scary defender it didn't even look like he was the same human being anymore. In his final season at UCLA, he was moving his arms so fast on defense that you literally couldn't even see his actiual lower forearms, they actually blurred. I have never seen any defender pull that off, in the history of college basketball, to far an extent. That was just absurd. Not to mention his athleticism to facerape the fuck out of any poor asshole who got caught between him after he ripped the ball away from some clawed-to-death pg fucker from the other team moments earlier. -
From Arkansas, went to University of Arkansas and University of Texas, lol.
Those guys from the ACC just had the best NCAA careers, imo.
And Jayson Williams is the best NCAA player Ive ever seen. -
How about:
Kenyon martin
Juan Dixon -
Ty Lawson at PG
-
I'm an Illinois nutswinger, but Ty Lawson >>>>> Deron Williams in college.

My vote at PG would definitely go to Lawson. UNC sucked without him when he hurt his toe...he comes back for the tourney and single-handedly wills him team through the tourney. He was so incredible at changing ends of the floor... -
Juan Dixon. Dave Neal. Boom Osby.

G- Shane Battier, Duke
F- Kevin Durant, Texas
