  1. 2 years, a major infraction. Apparently they caught themselves giving professor recommended texbooks to athletes.

     

    The NCAA allows schools to cover the cost of required course textbooks in athletic scholarships but not extra, professor-recommended books. Nebraska said it uncovered the violation on its own and determined that 492 athletes in 19 sports received books and supplies that were not required.

    of all the insane things I've heard of the NCAA getting butthurt over, this has to take the cake. God forbid athletes actually get a fucking education and have access to the same materials their classmates do. Choke on a dick, NCAA.
  5. From what I'm reading they basically got a 38K fine and have to stay out of trouble for 2 years right? Probation is not that big of a deal
