    i ran this last year at the last minute and we only got 17 people, but it was still fun and different than the normal bracket pool. i think we did $25 buy in and i believe waco held the money. my role was just to update the thread with wins/losses and points. i havent really been around lately so i dont expect people to jump all over this. last year we picked 6 teams, which was wrong due to my bad memory from years ago when i was just a participant, i've since did research and the correct form is to pick 8 teams, so we will do 8 this year.
    here are the rules...
    -u pick 8 teams. whatever seed they are u get that many points per games they win.
    - there is also a 10 point bonus for picking the winner of the tournament.

    so if u pick a #15 seed, and they win 2 games and then lose in rd3, u would get 15 + 15, 30 points from them. if they lose rd1, u get 0. if u pick a #1 seed, the max u could get from them is 6 points if they win the entire thing + the 10 point bonus, or 16 points. add up your total points from all your teams, the person with most points wins. lets see if there is any interest and if so, we could find a holder and start PM'ing your picks to me. i will then make a clean thread w/ everyones picks and that will be updated regularly. i think $25 was a good buy in, but i would drop it to $20 at the lowest if that would get more people, and would have no problem raising it to $30 or 40. whatever the majority would be up for is fine for me. last year grizzlybear took it down, and 100 mile came in 2nd. payouts will be dependent on buyins. more than 1 entry per person is also fine.

SAME GOES FOR THE 16s play ins

    Can we get an official thread going for people to enter other people's leagues BGX? I have one I'd like to invited people to but don't want to start a new thread as there will probably be like 100 if everyone just did that.

    I thought there was like a 10 point bonus for picking the team that won it all that way there was still some incentive to pick 1 seeds???

    hmm, i just quickly searched 2 other pools online and dont see this rule in any of them, but i do like it. it makes sense so im gonna incorporate it in this years pool. thanks
