    Bored today so I decided to make a wager on the game last night. I got Nebraska -3 over Missouri.

    Anyone else got a line on this game? Thoughts?

    I was thinking about making this thread as my labtop was firing up. So imagine my surprise when the first thing I see is this thread.

    I have modified by preseason picks. Missouri is obv a win now. Oklahoma is a win now and I will hold out a few weeks before I tell you that the Huskers will beat Texas in the Big XII Championship game>

    the sad part is I agreee with your second prediction for the MU game :(.

    However, I think the last 2 beers made you think it was ok to say they will beat Texas.

    My initial thoughts leading up to this game were a little pessimistic in regards to Nebraska, but after seeing the enthusiasm that this cute little guy has for the Cornhuskers, I might be changing my tune a little bit.



    I'll post some thoughts a little later on. Can't wait for the game, sounds like the weather is going to be absolutely horrible, maybe another '97-ish epic in store??

    I like Nbraska this year because of Ty. I worked with him while he was on active duty so i have to root for him and Nebraska atleast till he graduates.

    2009 Outlook

    Tyrone Fahie (pronounced FOY) joined the Nebraska program in January of 2007 after six
    years on active duty with the U.S. Military.

    Fahie has provided depth at the defensive end position
    each of his two years in the program, and hopes to make a push for playing time in 2009.

    Fahie originally earned a roster spot in walk-on tryouts before spring practice in 2007.
    In the three years prior to enrolling at Nebraska, Fahie completed two tours in Iraq, where he worked for Seal Team One as a support communicator. Fahie is originally from Virginia Beach,Va.

    Despite being only a junior in eligibility, Fahie is on track to complete his degree work in management this December.
