Headed to Cabo in mid-March with eight of my old college friends (25 - 27yr) and need some advice from those that have been as we are trying to find an ALL-INCLUSIVE resort looking to spend less than $1,200 each for 5 nights. Right now the front runner is Riu Palace / Riu Santa fe. Key items to consider:

1. Location (near bars would be great but not a deal breaker)

2. College Girls

3. Not a couples resort

I will stake two horses in any UB / FullTilt $11 tourney buy in ... 50/50 after buyin for the best advice. Pictures are always a plus. Thanks

Sry, was there on my honeymoon, so my feedback is not going to be helpful. Stayed there as a kid a few times at a house on the beach my grandparents owned. But, that doesn't help you much either. All I can say is, great choice, Cabo is a fucking amazing place. Marlin fishing is the nuts the world over and Cabo del Sol is one of my top 3 golf courses. Going with that many buddies will be a blast.

Looks like a great location as walking distance to the bars it appears. I actually stayed near the Marina in 06' but looking to upgrade the experience and do some deep sea fishing, ATV, golfing, bang college girls, etc.

Los Cabos. When are you going? I have good friends (who are extremely connected) in Cancun. They love having visitors. One of them owns the only Dos Equis distributorship for the entire Yucatan Peninsula. Sickest 50 year old playboy ever

Never been to Cabo, but just wanted to whine a little bit. I was supposed to be in Cancun this week!! Had to cancel my trip due to surgery Mexico is nice. Have fun OP!

I have stayed at the riu sante fe each of the last two years when vacationing to cabo. It is a decent resort. The pools are really nice and the activities are really fun (namely pool volleyball where everytime you hit a good shot or a bad shot you get a shot of tequila...so basically just constant tequila while playing pool volleyball). The food is as expected from a cheapish all inclusive resort. Breakfast and lunch are mass prepared buffet meals so they aren't great, but definitely not terrible either. Dinner is hit or miss but there are like 4 different themed restaurants (steak, japanese(do NOT eat at this one), mexican, italian)

The beach is nice except for the locals that frequently harass you to buy their shit. There are also a few on the beach who sell drugs. We went in march of both years and there werent as many college age kids as we thought there would be, but there were enough to make it a really good time.

I've never stayed at a Riu resort but everyone i know speaks very highly of them. Only thing i would suggest is visiting tripadvisor.ca or .com and looking up the trip reports on there. I never book anything without checking tripadvisor first.

I have been to spring break in CABO, great times. Just do not , NO NOT, talk to the people that keep comming up to you and offering you drugs. Unless you want machine guns pulled on you by the cops, then you just empty out your wallet.

This isn't true at all? Basically unless you are completely retarded it is easier to score drugs in cabo then it is to score candy from a baby. On the beaches at the resorts, there will be people selling homemade blankets, or hats, or clothes or whatnot. All you have to do is find the one random guy mingling with them not selling a specific good (he will usually present himself if you walk toward the salespeople) and tell him you want mota. Also I recommend going to the strip clubs downtown. The women are amazing and as a good looking american dude they will be eager to please in comparison with the typical broke grimey mexican guys that frequent the clubs.

I can't remember the name of the one I liked the best, but it was very close to the bar cabo wabo (which is nice but very very american). I would definitely be nervous about buying drugs downtown or straying too far from the american bars. Last time we were there we were offered heroin by the sketchiest looking guy ever, and that is pretty hardcore. Also no I would not like a stake or anything like that. Keep the money and consider your first 8 ball on me.
