1. The Chargers got hot at the end of the season to make the playoffs, and their reward for the hard work? They get a date with the hottest team in the NFL the Indianapolis Colts. This should be a high scoring slug fest of a game. The Chargers have averaged 37.25 ppg over their last 4 games. Taking out the game versus the Titans where Indy sat their regulars for much of the game, over their last 3 the Colts offense has hit their stride with 32.3 ppg.

While many people have been talking up the Chargers over their 4 game winning streak, and justice prevailed in the Ed Hoculli bowl, the Chargers didnt beat a single playoff team all season long. And if their 8-8 record didnt tell you all you need to know, they also lost to the Colts in week 12 at home.

I look for the Colts defense to play 8 in the box early to stop LT, who is no longer the back he once was, and force Phillip Rivers to try and beat them. It wont happen. Rivers has a nice passer rating but is one of the most inaccurate throwers in the game. I expect at least 2 interceptions for the Colts in this game and they will force Rivers to have to throw more and more.

Peyton Manning will drive the Colts down the field with ease against the Chargers defense, and they will dominate time of possession with their usual effectiveness. The running game will do just enough to not allow the Chargers to tee of on Manning.

Prediction for the game : Colts 38 Chargers 20
2. Goddamn you're sure going out on a limb with that one. Oh please give us more. I shall fall to my knees and beg if I must, really.
3. I can unfortunately not respect your opinion on this game due to your lack of a specific subject. Please change your title to indicate something specifically regarding the Chargers-Colts game
4. Replies like this are why I hadnt bothered to post anything previous.

5. You started your first paragraph off with a thick layered brag post and you didn't expect to get flamed????
6. Don't let the door hit you in the vagina on the way out.

7. So Rivers leads the NFL in passer rating, has less interceptions than Peyton Manning, 7th in completion percentage, and he's one of the most inaccurate passers in the game? You really need to lose your password, this is one of the most asinine game analysis I've ever seen.

9. Good analysis Cow Bell, and if I bet sports I would definitely ask you for your input on the other games.

Don't mind the haters, it's just their way of saying hi!

yeah, well, the Colts needed a last second field goal to win that one, the bolts lost to the panthers on a last second play, beat the jets when they were good, beat new england who should have been a playoff team, and lost to Pittsburgh by one point in Pittsburgh.

As much as I love the Chargers, I think they likely lose this game, but they played some good teams pretty tough.. it all depends on which charger team shows up, and they've been playing pretty well as of late... Go bolts!

Edit: damn dude, no need to delete the OP... you put an opinion out there, stick to it. We are a cranky bunch...
11. Why the hell didn't you just cut out your first paragraph and leave the rest in there?

Edit: Much better.
12. Since you asked so nicely. There you go.

13. Ok... Stats are stats, but if you have watched Rivers play many games you will see what I mean by innaccuracy.

On a throw that is meant to go to the front shoulder, he hits the back shoulder. He may get credit for a completion, but rather than being accurate and throwing the ball where it should be, he doesn't allow his receiver to run through the ball.

Do you remember how Gates got hurt in last year's playoff game versus the Pats? Rivers underthrew a ball that led to him getting injured. Oh, and he received credit for a completion on this as well.
