    This is a damn shame, they're just shoes. My mother is going to buy my younger brother some new Jordan's. This is the same women who bought all my shoes from Payless. I would never pay that much for a pair of shoes that will go out of style next year when the next Jordan's come out.

    i tried to get these as soon as they came out last night online.All the sites crashed within the first couple minutes.You can make a killing reselling them on ebay

    people have done similar things hundreds of times before; black friday, iphones

    at least these limited edition jordans will go up in value. i'm sure a few of these young people had the investment and resale value in mind. really this is not quite threadworthy.

    Shoes are only supposed to last a year though (assuming you actually wear them and not display them in a trophy case). It's not like buying a 2010 Hyundai Elantra when the following year they totally redesign the vehicle and your car suddenly looks a decade outdated.

    ya, i dont understand the hate. i have a friend who has nearly every pair of retro j's, a lot of them are still in the box. his collection is worth nearly $20k. he has been talking about getting these for over a month now. i dont personally understand the hype, but people don't understand when i spend $300 on a pair of sunglasses either, so it all evens out IMO.

    $300 can be justified for certain sunglasses. Not a pair of fucking sneakers made in some Taiwanese sweat shop or something.

    lol ya, when im rich like you, no doubt i'll buy some. i was lookin at those gold-trimmed LV's (even PM'd a guy on here about them) a few month back, but i'm not rick ross enough to pull them off.

    Trampling all over people.. cops being called in.. pepper spray being used.. and I heard gun shots were fired and then to top it all off, news interviewed a kid who got a pair and he said its tradition to lick the bottom of the shoe as he goes ahead and licks the bottom.. wtf? Fucking retarded! . All of this over an ugly looking pair of shoes that Jordan doesnt even wear because he hasnt played in almost 10 years?

    Only a limited quantity of the new Jordans were made so anyone thinking they're gonna get them will be buying them through ebay and such at marked up prices.
