I have to make this post. I felt it 3 games ago . I shoulda posted it then but whatever. I think this is the turning point for the brewers. Our starting pitchers have demonstrated their ability to pitch out of trouble. I think that the brewers are on the rise and they are gonna surprise a lot of people. We are gonna make a serious run at the playoffs. I always said that once our pitching could be anything close to average, we were gonna start dominating and i seriously think that we are gonna make a huge run now. For you sportsbettors, start betting the crew. We have a sick offense, and now that our pitching has solidifeid with the dropping of suppan, and the emergence of john axford, we are gonna win a lot of games that people think we arent supposed to win. Im gonna call it now, the brewers will not only make the playoffs, but if we make a trade for a good starting pitcher, we are gonna be one of the most dangerous teams in baseball, and will be a team that nobody wants to play. call me stupid, call me a homer, but i dont give a shit. We're here and we'regonna start making some noise. read it and weap baseball, we're finally playing like we should!!!!!!!!!!!

uhh...
maybe make this thread when they get to .500?
lol -
funnest place to tailgate and party, doesnt even matter if the team sucks cause we dont even go in till the 6th anyways haha
-
wouldnt be a much of a prediction then would it?
and yes, the funnest place to tailgate goes without saying...anyone whos ever been to the park, brewers fan or not will agree that the miller park atmosphere is second to none.Originally Posted by t0ddkrupa

i havent been to many parks , hockey player not much baseball, but def agree with u, atmosphere is unreal. cant beat 3 doller nose bleeds either lol
-
they will still have a whole lot of work to do if they even get to .500
-
youre from bloomington and youre hating on the brewers...weird...sorry we passed the cubbies today
-
As a Brewer fan, I hope you are right....but as a realist, I dont see it happening. Let's be honest here, other than Gallardo who has been excellent, who do you trust to throw 6 or 7 innings a start? History says no one. They have been pitching better lately though. Over the past 12 games, the Brewers are 7-5. In the month of June they are 2 games above .500. Oh, and to say if they pick up a pitcher (highly unlikely) they will be one of the most dangerous teams in baseball is laughable.

The emergence of John Axford thing doesn't make much sense given that the manager is already talking about giving Trevor Hoffman his job back... that's a scary thought.
It was totally badass yesterday to see both the Brewers and the Mariners in 80s retro jerseys... the old Brewers logo is one of the top 5 in sports history and I have no idea why they canned it. -
you are stupid and a homer.....

I see you down there in the division, one day you will make it to the top, only 7 1/2 games to go!!!! -
i feel like i have to give you shit for not posting in my thread.
also i hope your right, but if they trade prince for a good pitcher we lose that. i just dont see them being THAT good
giants lot is the greatest tailgating place ever -
my bad then. stupid post on my part. at least we have something in common with the hating the cubs thing. i know this is a really bold prediction and its a long shot, but thats what makes it fun. and to the guy who mentioned macha talking about giving hoffman his closer job back, i heard that interview too and i seriously hope he doesnt do it. i dont think he will tho unless axford starts fucking up. i dont know how you could. even tho i will give hoffman credit for pitching well lately. hes gone scoreless his last 6.
