    I haven't seen the point spread yet, but it would have to be over 20 for me to even consider not putting my money on New England. The game is in NE, and the Pats have been destroying opponents all year long because the Jets caught them cheating.

    Anyone got any reasons not to pick NE in this one?

    Im guessing the line should be around 25 or 26 points.

    I've seen the line at 26. Still looking for the o/u. The Pat's o/u alone should be 50+.

    I'll probably do a teaser with NE -26 and NE/NYJ Over 51. I think if the first event happens, the second event is guaranteed.

    this game will be fixed in that NE will score as much as they want to. they know what the spread is and will cover if they want. we know they should. i say 49-10

    The Jets do have the 11th ranked Pass Defense, but then again, the Steelers have the number two spot.

    Steelers also allowed the fewest points this year and gave up 34 yesterday.

    The line opened at 24.5 and 52.

    Its now at 24 and 50.

    I actually like taking the Jets here to cover the spread. With the little rivalry budding between the Pats and Jets, (even though the Jets fell off the wheel after a solid season) Mangini vs. Belichek, I feel the Jets will be able to keep this relatively close. Fully believe they will still lose but feel it could be in the realm of only two touchdowns instead of 24+ points.

    Hopefully Eli will grow a set by week 17 and take the game over at the Meadowlands.

    lol @ the Jets keeping this close. The Patriots are going to jail sex them. They're pissed about the whole cheating thing. I'd give 30 points and feel pretty comfortable. The only reason the pass defense is ranked 11th is bc the rush defense is ranked like 30th and teams don't have enough time to throw it while they're gashing it for 8 yards a carry. I hope they can keep them from scoring 60, that's my only goal.

    During Weeks 15-17, the team who covered the Over 10 or more times already, has a record of 21-4 covering the Over in their next game.

    During Weeks 15-17, the team who covered the Over 11 or more times already, has a record of 9-1 covering the Over in their next game.

    I doubt the Jets can win obviously, but I think it's pretty likely for them to cover. Anything over 20 is just ridiculous and they will obviously be trying because of the rivalry etc
