Yeah it is. Its just that im always hearing about how great the army is and how everyone that serves their country is a hero, thank you for your service etc. I don't think you should blindly label people heros, they could be sickos like this. To earn the adulation of being called a hero it should be through proven action not simply by putting on a uniform.

Picture 17 is horrific. Killing civilians and taking pictures like this is digusting. I recognise war aint pretty and people are gonna get fucked up but targetting unarmed civilians, which probably happens in every war, is dispicable. Its good to get this out in the open so it can discussed and the public can see whats happening. Its not gonna do much good for America or the coalition forces image tho.

i mean i cant fathom some of the shit our soldiers go through but stuff like this is just going to get more of them killed, there is already enough hate towards us by islamic extremists and this is just gonna make it wayyy worse. the ied one isnt bad but the way the do it is, with the death music and shit. just pretty terrible all around.

I won't look at the pics or watch the vid but didn't one of the main characters get sentenced to 24yrs for taking part in this? I hardly think that a 24yr sentence paints him as some kind of hero ffs.

It's a good thing we are more civilized then we were 60 years ago. I'm just stunned that something like this would happen when you train teenagers and young adults to kill then give them automatic weapons.
