    Is there any must see places to go to eat and drink? I'm down for the weekend and this is my first time here, some suggestions would be nice, Bourbon Street is a must for sure.

    Commanders Palace, Camilla Grill, Red Fish Grill, Acme Oyster, WWII museum, any of the cemetry tours, audubon park (across from Tulane and Loyola), if school was in I'd suggest the boot for cheap as fuck drinks and slutty college coeds, all the strip clubs there suck, drink hand grenades and hurricanes repeatedly, move outta the way of cops of horseback....etc,

    Thanks and cemetry tour that sounds cool, as I was coming in I saw alot of cemetry's and they look spooky as shit, it looks like all the graves were above ground.

    Went to commanders palace for breakfast when i was there for sugar bowl ( go Utes! ). Cost $35 bucks but it was pretty damn good.

    Cafe du monde is a must after a night of drinking. Also, K-Pauls and Mothers are excellent. If you want a hurricane, Pat O'Briens is the place to go. I also really like the Crescent City Brewhouse. Otherwise, you can't miss with the TU's suggestions.

    BTW, Harrah's sucks and I would recommend staying away from the casino if possible.

    i murdered Harrahs in blackjack in my one and only trip there

    chill on some hurricanes up and down bourbon, grab a cigar, then go do work at the casino (they provide comped drinks)

    Beyond the levees New Orleans is essentially a swamp so bodies have to be buried above ground other wise they come to the surface regardless during flooding. Can't believe I forgot Cafe du Monde and Pat O's, I fail at life. Also if you don't have a Harrah's card go and sign up for one if they are giving the scratch off's for free shit. Worth it if you manage to score the free buffet IMO.

    if you are into asians on be atMarquarades in Harrahs on Saturday nights. IMO its the best place to play blackjack with the fast pace dealers and the music. very cool atmosphere and asain chicks will outnumber guys 2 to 1 at least.

    Johnny's Po Boys...find it and thank me later. I ended almost every night there, so good.

    Don't go to the cemetaries alone. The bad guys hide behind the mausoleums {sp?} and wait for unsuspecting tourists to wander in.

    Just got back from there. If you want some good jazz, go to Snug Harbor. You'll probably catch a Marsalis brother.

    Bourbon St. is fun for a few days but it gets old night after night. I love the breakfast at Krystal's after a hard night. $2.99 for a full breakfast...awesome!
