    Pretty sure these guys grew up hearing real rap like NWA, Public Enemy, Run DMC, Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre, Beastie Boys etc.

    Rap isnt as good/original as it used to be imo.

    i grew up with that rap KR, i was probably a little younger, but if you listen to some of that stuff now it's pretty boring. i'm not a huge rap fan, but to say "rap sucks" is close minded and that just annoyed me for some reason.

    but now rap is probably borderlining on some the most retarded shit on earth. that soldierboy song pretty sums it up. there is still some good rap, but it is very few and far between, and none of it is the trash you hear on the radio or on mtv.

    actually, most new music in all genres is terrible.

    agreeaments. All new rap music is so fuggin' bad besides a few older groups/rappers that are still making the occasional cd. Club/Crunk genre & MTV/BET really fugged the game.
