    Off the Portgual coast, the Nazar Canyon is an undersea chasm the size of the Grand Canyon that funnels enormous waves directly to Nazar Beach. That's where American Garrett McNamara caught and rode one estimated at 90 feeta world record. And best of all, while you watched him ride it you probably weren't even thinking about Penn State.

    So nuts, I would love to be on that beach just to get a proper perspective of that wave, or I could stand next to a nine story building but it's not the same.
