Don't love it, hopefully the album doesn't bomb. So weird not seeing MA on the bass. Oh well, not a huge VH fan but will always support Eddie a true legend. Going to see them next month, very curious to see what they got in em live these days.
Here is the only single released. Again don't love it but Eddie's solo is sick, straight from the first two albums sounding:

wait this isn't original?
-
Going to see them out here in June. I'm looking forward to it but hopefully they play mostly the older stuff. This is pretty bleh.
Dave's dance moves are pretty rad though. -
Wow, interesting. I had no idea and apparently not many other people do either - read a few articles today and neither mentioned it nor did any of my music twitter people.

Yeah the only reason I'm going is I assume most songs will be from the first Van Halen and 1984. I think they will play mostly classic stuff with Roth rejoining. I also love Eddie. It's just so weird seeing his son on the bass - MA was such a huge part of the band. -
When I was younger I thought these two were the same:

it's just awesome that diamond dave is back and theyre doing a new album. the song is alright, but certainly not one of the reasons why i loved old van halen. here's hoping they have a few fast tempo, frantic masterpieces on this new record, and not just a bunch of sammy hagar power ballads
-
sorry to say but that track sucks and what that guy said ^^^^^^^
-
Lets not forget Women and Children First and Fair Warning. Gotta have some Unchained!
-
sounds kinda sucky to me
-
They have fucking sucked since the moment david lee roth left.

Reason: And now who is back apparently -
It definitely has a more Hagar type vibe. Reminds me a lot of three lock box. I'm not a big Hagar fan other than his stuff with Montrose which is timeless
-
always been my fav VH song.
-
time rolls on and Montrose is a tubby bald guy with two chins.
-
TATTOO TATTOO SEXY DRAGON!
holy fuck this is awful
DLR looks like half the guys in the gay bar in NE philly ive been going to. the bottom half. -
okay songs growing a ton on me. Pretty excited/curious for the full record they claim awesomeness but obv everyone always says that
-
The results are in and the album owns pretty hard. Again not even a huge VH guy but this is some of my favorite stuff by them in decades. Heavy with classic Eddie lightning fast shredding and tapping. Awesome stuff. Some of my favorites:

Blood and Fire but can't find a video for it.
As Is but can't find a video for it.
Definitely worth a buy imo -
Tattoo song blows
-
I guess they didn't have enough Van Halens in the band and that's why they ditched anthony. (new bassist is Eddie's son)

It is comfortably in the top 2 worst songs on the album not sure why they chose it as their first single. I don't mind it too much but the rest of the album is classic shredding VH -
I dig the last two songs posted. It had less pop more rock IMO.
