Hey guys,
I just moved apartments and my TV worked fine the first day in the new apartment. All of a sudden, it started having this really intense blue background. It also won't display reds. I tried changing it back to the default settings, but it didn't work.
Any idea what is wrong with my TV? I had issues with Verizon this morning with Verizon and my DVR this morning with the electrical outlet not working, but that's really it. Is there a button on the Verizon remote that I accidentally hit? Thanks for advice on this google type question
PS - When I hit the test picture button on my TV, the red on the TV shows up. It's definitely just some button I pressed.
PPS - Hi OT! -
i'm 99% sure it wouldn't be the problem, but are you hooked up via hdmi or component?

not gonna have any idea on how to fix, but just wondering what kind/size tv it is

1 check supply to red video transistor.
2 check for loose crt base.
3 check for loose connector
4 check components related to red video ckt.& cathode ckt.
5 check for red signal is coming to red video ckt.
6 check red cathoe voltage.

I believe it's 52 inches. I've had it about a year and a half -
yea since you're component, make sure the cables are plugged in all the way on both ends and/or try replacing the cable. faulty connection or faulty cable would def cause this.
