  1. I've googled this but can't find it. I'd like to know what % of favorites actually won the game in both 2010 and 2009.

Not concerned with spreads, just actual straight up favorites.

Anyone know where this info might be?
  2. google is a good place to start.
  3. "I've googled this but can't find it."

LOL...I knew someone wouldn't be able to resist snapping back with that highly original response. I even tried to head it off at the pass.

  4. If google doesn't know the answer, then how is a human suppose to know.
  5. Betting on every favorite this year on the money line is just as likely to make you money this year as betting on every underdog.

You don't get that kind of advice from AskfuckingJeeves.com!!!
  6. I'm going in a "straight up winners" pool, and wonder what % of favorites win each week, historically in the long run.

I'm sure it's out there somewhere, I just can't find it.

  7. I'm sure it's out there too.

I'm close to as sure that whatever the % is, won't be enough to win your pool. Might be +EV if your pool pays enough places tho....
  8. Did you try Google?
  9. They win when I decide not to fire at it, they lose when I put more than I should on them.
  10. The Gold Sheet has each team's ATS and SU numbers since '06. You'll have to manually tally up the numbers, but the info is there.

Google has the info, you're just doing it wrong.

  13. No way I click that.

Think I found it - 73% of favorites won in 2010. Thought it would have been lower...?

    Still can't find 2009.
