  1. always wondered the same thing when teams got an extra short kick via personal foul in years past. why try to boot it through the endzone and force a touchback? kick it high like a punt and try to keep it out of the endzone. itll come back and bite you sometimes but itll get you plenty of fair catches/no gain returns/fumbles/muffs.

    is my game theory spot on or am i missing something?

    EDIT: also thought this should be std against big threat returners like hester and cribs. much better than weaksauce squibs.
