anyone else love betting on football but hate paying juice to the sportsbooks? i think i'd be fun to match up with someone and see what lines (spread and o/u) we disagree on throughout the playoffs, then put something like 500-1k on each. since few people know me in OT, i'd be fine shipping someone reputable a few k ahead of time to prove that it isn't a scam or anything.
fwiw, here's what i'm looking at this weekend:
sea -3.5, was/sea O 40.5
jax -2.5, jax/pit U 39.5
TB -3, nyg/tb U 39.5
sd -9.5, ten/sd U 40 -
i'll bet 20 of us couldnt combine to put together 1k to wager against you

lol, das fo sho

I'd do it if you liked the Redskins and Giants, but you're not stupid. I do like the Steelers but my preseason pick of them to win the Superbowl makes me too biased to bet a lot of money on them, and I'm pretty indifferent on the Chargers/Titans line. Maybe next week. By the way, you can get 1/2 point better on all 4 of those lines.

I'm blown away by everyone picking the Redskins.
I don't get it. Seahawks are 7-1 at home this year, and Todd Collins has to start his first ever playoff game on the road in Seattle. Seattle is a passing team going against a team without Sean Taylor.
So everyone picks the Redskins. I don't understand.
Oh well, we'll let our actions do the talking on Saturday. -
jax -2.5, jax/pit U 39.5
lol @ this -
your totally unbiased right. . .
-
I'm unbiased and the Seahawks are going to beat the crap out of the Redskins.
-
Meh, I think I have to agree with Mariner.
In Seattle without Sean Taylor, it'll be really tough for the Redskins to pull this game off.
