Packers -6.5 @ Lions.

Let's go. Game of the day. Game of the season? We've been looking ahead to this one for quite some time.
The packers haven't played against a good defense in two months. But, Rodgers is looking more incredible week after week.
Last year, the Lions were able to concuss 12 and that's their best shot in this one; they need to put him on the ground. unfortunately, it will likely result in penalties more often than it won't.
I'm still out on Stafford, but Megatron could have a thanksgiving feast of his own against the green bay defense. I really have no clue how the Packers cover him.
I really like how Kevin Smith is supposed to be the savior for the Detroit running game. Umm, no. He had a solid game against the Panthers dot dot dots. Matty Ice is gona have to do some things on 3rd down and that's when Clay Matthews will be coming for him. I could see him ending up with a DNF too.
Nothing would surprise me on a thursday game that starts before noon on three days rest, but I think the Packers are just too potent in a dome setting. they haven't lost a game with a healthy Rodgers in just short of a year and they know this is the biggest stepping stone toward an undefeated season which has them very motivated.

Cowboys -7 vs. Dolphins

Two hot teams with momentum will make for an interesting game. However, I'm not sure if either of these teams is legitimate. Both are riding high off of 3 game winning streaks, albeit both have done so against crappy opponents. Miami seems a little more convincing because their margins of victory have been more convincing. But, Dallas has played several close games against good opponents, losing by 3 to the Jets, 4 to the Pats. Plus, they gave the mighty 49ers their only loss and it was in San Fran.
I like the Cowboys in this one. when in doubt, go with the home team on thanksgiving. If Jones comes back, that is a hell of a dynamic backfield. Plus, Matt Moore on the road in a high pressure TV game might become laughable.

Ravens -3/3.5 vs. 49ers

Harbaugh family thanksgiving? Unfair scheduling drama?
Whatever, this is an amazing football game. two of the league's best defenses.
it's also one of the league's most consistent teams versus one of its least consistent.
I dont know if either team will pull away in this one, unless Ed Reed returns a bunch of pick sixes. So, I like taking the points, esp. 3.5 on some sites.
While the Pack is looking to go undefeated, SF is looking for the even more improbable undefeated ATS.
I don't love SF Harbaugh's media moves about the west coast-east coast scheduling. You're giving your team an excuse to lose a few days before the game. But, the guy hasnt given us any reason to doubt him yet in his short career.
Also, I've hated on Alex Smith every year since he was drafted. But, he might have found his place in this offense. quarterback is an old man's game especially for smart players. He's matured over time and you can't even say he's a liability right now.

Packers playing like their 3rd game in 11-12 days or something and Detroit will be rocking. I think the Pack suffers their first loss of the season.

Phins playin better and Dallas plays to level of their competition

49ers are actually a better team than the Ravens imo and they also are hungrier.

I like all 3 dogs for thanksgiving

It hits, my nieces and nephews get xmax presents. It doesn't, disappointment builds character.

Im gonna steal this line from you, lol. 3 teamer with all 3 dogs on the ML pays 31-1 which isn't a bad price. I actually like SF and Det to win and Phins to only cover but it's not a bad play

This is the one day of the year I miss my old boss. He was American, so every Thanksgiving he'd give us a free day off to go to the bar with him, drink and watch football. Those were the days.

Now...I get the luxury of watching the game from work, via stat-tracker, while I sip on my orange juice. Sick life.
