  1. Thursday night's KC @ San Diego might shape up to be one of the worst Thursday night games of the season. Good thing Miami and Virginia Tech play...

The two games of the week are probably PIT @ NYG and DAL @ ATL.
If Dallas gets Demarco Murray back, does that change anything?

What kind of shape is Metlife Stadium in? I think PIT loses to the G-Men this week, but this will quite possibly be the best game of the weekend.

Is it just me, or does anybody else think the PHI @ NO game on Monday night should have been a huge match-up but has turned into a "who cares" game?

My Bucs have hit some hard times, particularly losing Carl Nicks for the season. That makes 4 starters on the line that have missed at least half the season. Adrian Clayborn, Dequan Bowers, Davin Joseph, and Now Carl Nicks. I believe they can beat Oakland this week, but they don't typically play well on the west coast. Getting 10 days between games should help.

    Let's go, whatcha guys got?
  2. not sure it's a "good" thing when two mediocre-as-shit ACC teams play each other...

  3. I only check this thread for AMartin's picks....

That's kind of the point. Even though I'm a Miami fan, there is shit for games on this Thursday.

  5. I'm stoked for the upcoming game against the Bucs.
Good game for Oak to step up and garner some respect.
Our defense is finally getting pressure and the weakened O-line is def in our favor.
Martin is gonna look like a rookie this game.
  6. unless oakland puts up 100, theyre not getting much respect if they beat tampa.

and i like bad thurs games. no obligation. watch if youre bored, it's football, better than anything else on. or if you got shit to do, no big deal.
  7. the next 2 weeks are looking fucking awesome for the lions. we SHOULD win both of them against the jags and vikes and be sitting at 5-4. if the offense can build on last week, and start to find its rhythm i think that we might be able to backdoor the playoffs.
  8. you SHOULD win at minny ?

and after that play gb twice, houston, atlanta, and the bears.

nfc is a shitshow tho, especially the last wc spot

    gl tho lol
  9. yes we should. the vikings could only muster up two fgs on offense and detroit played one of its worst games of the season. trust me i was there. vikings are shit on offense and christian ponder couldnt do dick against a depleted lions secondary.
  10. unfortunately, after the next two weeks are 7 more... 2 ways to make the playoffs. beat the teams youre supposed to and get jets rungood in week 16 and 17. or cutler/rodgers go down and you get lions rungood like last year.

yes tough tough schedule left. but if they start to click on offense and with the way this nfl season has played out i dont think a 5-4 record is out of the race for the last wc spot

    Same.

Can we get them by Friday Please.
  13. I feel the Monday Night Aints/Feagles is actually a good one (said the media). Aints only play with 9 on defense and their O is still well above avg. Should be an exciting game at the least, add in everything that comes with Vick and this could be one of the more intriguing games of the week.

Go Jets! We dont want Tebow.

**Also add in the fantasy reliables on both sides. Quiet hype

  14. Ill take video of me getting jumped in New Orleans for being a loud obnoxious idiot, it will be my duty to be shit faced since we have a 4 hour free open bar tailgate before the game, and I don't feel like watching the eagles get their shit pushed in again sober :(.
  15. I am concerned about the Bears offense. If they blew this game on the road at Tennessee I would not be surprised.
  16. saints better not win just enough games to screw themselves out of a top draft pick. We need a real playmaker on defense
  17. should be fun tonight, lol

  18. Any thoughts on survivor this week I am thinking Washington hosting Carolina since I wont want Washington any other week.
  19. If Cardinals had a high school QB they would worry me this week vs GB. Their front 7 is good and GB is all banged up. If they can get thru this week 6-3* into the bye then after Giants game they can feast on the rest of schedule and get guys back healthy .

  21. I touched on this in the power rankings thread, but I'll throw this out there:

The Jets are the homeless-man-dying-of-cancer's version of the 49ers. They like to win games with great defense and pounding the ball on the ground. If they fall behind, then it's tough for their offense to stay in sync and put up points. We've seen Good Jets a few times already this year, against Buffalo and Indy. But we've also seen Bad Jets, where they've fallen behind and couldn't get the ground game going. That left everything on Sanchez, which doesn't work, just like in San Francisco when Smith has to win the game. We saw it with Smith against the Giants.

If Rex Ryan, Tim Tebow and the city of New York weren't involved, this whole thing wouldn't be blown out of proportion. The Jets are not a trainwreck of a team. They're not on some downward spiral. They're not a disaster. They're just a team built a certain way, and they'll get blown out a few weeks of the year because of it. They're not THAT bad; they're still a mid-level team in the league. The media just blows everything up because of the circumstances around them. Don't get caught up in the hype.

  22. The NFL Network pregame show (Rich Eisen, Deion Sanders, Michael Irvin, Steve Mariucci, Marshall Faulk) is unwatchable.

  23. i cant fucking wait to watch this barn burner tonight.

watch this turn out to be the best game of the year.
  24. kind of interesting stats I found today.

Jets with Revis on the field are 2-0 without him they are 1-5. 71-48 scoring with him... 97-151 without

Browns are 2-2 with Haden on the field. 0-4 without him 70-64 with, 84-122 without

CB is deff the 2nd most important position on the field.

I hope we draft Milliner this year

  25. Only reason i'm going to watch is i hope to see ricki stanzi play..just for the hell of it really..tired of watching cassel have to float a five yard out route.
  26. Solid start

What do you have left? Probably shouldve played SD as they have virtually no value left after this game and are almost guaranteed a win. I guess that if you cant pick gb and hou and didnt pick SD that Wash is prob ur next best bet

if cam plays well though you could be in trouble (found that out last week)
