Crosby shut down again as well. As a Flyers fan i hate for this to keep happening to him, concussions are fucking nasty. As much as i hate him, I wish him a speedy recovery. Giroux i am hoping is ok and will be back at it this week, but i am not so sure.

As obvious as a statement this is, I think this is going to be the rest of Crosby's career. He'll need to be constantly monitored for concussion like symptoms, pulled from the lineup on a pretty regular basis and randomly miss weeks in the middle of the season, at best case. It sucks too because he is hands down the best player in the league and has so many years in front of him. I hope he finds a way to fight through and stay healthy but it doesn't look at all promising.

Hockey has a positive stereotype of the professionals being laid back and really involved with community shit. However there are also some cocky motherfuckers (like every kid that plays baseball or lacrosse). What made him so douchey?

Not gonna lie, If my pops owned a hockey store, I'd be doin the same thing. However theres probably a total of 5 hockey stores in the bible belt unlike MN. Down here most shops make you pay a fee to try on skates so that you can't find your size and order online. $250 of composite blades is like 4 or 5 of them though but I guess it's all paying off now.

OTR, but a teammate on my beer league team got himself the new Bauer APX stick and I couldnt believe that it felt lighter than the easton RS stealth. Crazy to think how light but crazy expensive hockey equip will be 4-5 years from now.

Would have never guessed tonights game would have so much scoring. Have heard about Henrique but havent really gotten to see him play and I am impressed. It still looks so weird everytime I see Kovy in a devils jersey, just doesnt look right at all.

i dont think they will be getting thaaaaat much lighter, already right now the lightest sticks feel TOO light. Need some kind of feeling and weight to put into the shot

This is really bad - especially because it isn't from another hit. And yes, he is hands down the best player in the league when healthy. As much as I wish it weren't the case, I think in all likelihood this is the beginning of the end for him as a player. At his age, it just isn't worth ruining your health for the rest of your life. I don't follow hockey at all, but when I saw he was out again on the ticket on ESPN, I thought the same thing. It has to be the worst feeling in the world being a professional athlete and having any career-ending injury. Hope it works out.

Obv not locks but the games teams I like are Toronto over Carolina, Vancouver over Columbus, Montreal over Islanders. Those are probably my 3 favorites. Second is players are more willing to say they thiink they had one, days of saying you got your bell rung take a snif of smelling salt and getting back out there are gone

Schenn is also out with a concussion. JVR is a god damn pussy, he turned it on in the playoffs last year, Leino II imo. He can leave town next year and the Flyers will be OK
