I was walking back to my office on Union Square after picking up a sandwich from Subway and there was some commotion around the high-end jewelry boutique next to my office. I was walking up the side of the jewel store and one of the owners peeked his head out of a side door and looked up towards the front of the building...he looked very disturbed.
The store has floor to ceiling glass exterior walls, so anyone can see everything that is going on within easily. No one was inside and everyone was peeking around corners. What the fuck is going on?
2 minutes before I walked up, a masked man walked in with a gun and a hammer. He fired the gun into the ceiling and then smashed a glass encasement and stole a necklace with over 100 carats of diamonds on it. (Value $500,000)
Then he jumped in a car and sped away....it took less than 1 minute.
Luckily, when he fired the shot into the ceiling, there was no one in that office at the time. -
lol..nice

I'm walking up the street to my office and I notice that the Exotic import shop employees are all standing on the sidewalk. Inside there are police and FBI. I think to myself they must've been robbed. As I round the corner past the above mentioned jewelry store I see more FBI, police, CIA, IRS .............and........Fish, Game, and Wildlife Authority..wtf?
The owners of the import place have an office right next to mine in the building and it was getting a detailed inspection/computers being removed etc. Apparently they were into more than just importing fine malaysian sculptures.
I think the wildlife Authority was there because they may have been selling authentic ivory art in addition to other shit
