Apparently GM is considering shutting down the Hummer brand of SUVs. Personally, I am delighted as they are pieces of shit and ugly. However, a part of me is concerned that it will no longer be as easy to determine who's an asshole if they aren't allowed to have their own vehicle. (BTW, I drive a BMW.)

Actually, I disagree. F350s are actual work trucks. A lot of work gets done by guys driving F350s. Hummers are mostly driven by wannabes or suburban moms who think dropping their kids off at school from a Hummer will keep them from being bullied. (It doesn't work.)

Has there ever been a vehicle that creates a more negative connotation of the driver than a Hummer? The funny thing is that the only people who don't know this are those who drive them, thus proving the theory that they are self centered, materialistic, self aggrandizing people. Ok, so I generalized a bit, but you know what I mean.

GM is retarded. They just now figured out that gas prices are never going back down, so they are attempting to sell off the Hummer brand. Why they didn't figure this two years ago, and attempt the sell the brand when they still could have gotten some good scratch for it? The few investors who do bid are going to lowball.

Once again, American auto companies are behind the curve of the market.

not sure why anyone would think that only assholes drive F150/F350s as pointed out they are great work trucks and a lot of people live in areas of the country where you need a truck or 4 wheel drive to work/ get around in the winter
