    Just went and looked, I've got 3 people on my friends list over 2. 2 guys are at like 2.1 and are really good, the other guy is at 3.5 and i think cheats.

    Ive been playing these types of games since halo and have people on my list solely because they raped at previous games. I've got a guy with a 16/1 w/l ratio and only a 1.6 kd.

    nice, ty. that tweet doesn't mean that they are admitting the existence of, addressing, and fixing the complaint of "lag compensation" tho.

    it happens to me all the time (going around a corner and he is shooting b4 he even sees me, or i die after i have already definitely rounded the corner. i always attributed it to connection variance and assumed that i got the same benefit of the doubt and so i figured it evened out. I am performing about the same on MW3 as I was on black ops as I was on MW2 as I was on COD4, so I haven't noticed a huge difference.

    that's because k/d is overrated as fuck. I'd rather have a guy go 30-15 than a guy go 9-1 and hide the whole game. Also, people with insanely high k/d probably just play demolition spawn killing people, going 100-10 thinking they are the shit.

    Also, many people play game modes other than TDM where k/d isn't as important, such as Domination. I've played plenty of games where we won and multiple guys on the other team had 50+ kills but still lost because they refused to go for points and just ran around killing people. Then they get into the lobby and talk about how much we suck when they don't even play the game the way it's supposed to be played.

    I can't find it now, but yesterday I saw a post on their blog or something that specifically said they are working on fixing lag compensation.

    You're in an online poker forum/stat tracking site asking if people play video games strictly for fun anymore? Everyone who gets into some form of game is going to care about their stats in some way.

    They did release a patch to try and fix this like a week ago but over the next few days the feedback came back that it was worst so they unpatched it. In your last update it would have went from version 1.52 to .54 back to .52 or something like that.

    As for the k/d talk its true that a higher k/d doesnt really mean a better player. you only have to get to 5 kills and then let your killstreaks get you the next 10, chill in an area for long enough and not attack and those 5 kills will come to you eventually, easy game.

    However i think that the biggest thing that ruined my game is that they killed the rushing game style. All i use to run was Marathon and Lightweight, loved being in the action but now they dont exist. Add that to respawns are tighter so your 10x more likely to get shot in the back by someone who spawned 10m away and the lag compensation and you cant be as aggresive as previusly possible in this game.

    I disagree about the run and gun, I'll admit some levels it's pretty difficult to do it, but I still have marathon pro quick draw and stalker with a P90 with rapid fire and go on beast mode on maps like hardhat, seaside, dome etc...for the bigger maps I stick with my trusted M4 but to say they eliminated it is just wrong

    my kill death still sucks but I play mostly domination ground wars and I always have the most captures and i'm the top three in scoring most of the time.

    This is why this game sucks, and also why it is not competitive at all on on consoles or especially the FPS PC world. How can you have a competitive fair match when you are not allowed dedicated servers?

    The entire game is a joke and there is no point in playing it unless you are not into video games at all and just want to jump into something casually since there is zero competitive scene.

    I don't even know what K/D ratio is, and I've owned most COD games at some point or another, but good one.

    it's not pre-firing... you can see they werent pre-firing on the killcam and even before you come to the corner. didnt people watch the vid in op at least? it's not every game against every opponent but sometimes you see someone and youre dead practically instantly. i hip fire like a boss and sometimes cant even get a shot off
