Yes I've already tried Google. Anyway, I have a relatively new HP dv6500t with Vista (lol), but in many places my computer is still called "test" (the original name of the machine when I first got it). I have gone to control panel and renamed the computer to my name, but it still is referred to as "test" when I download things, browse through folders, etc.

Is there another way to REALLY rename the computer so it isn't referred to as "test"? It's beginning to drive me insane and I feel like/probably am an idiot for not figuring it out. Any solution would be much appreciated, thanks.
