    lol Zellwood Corn Festival. I grew up in Apopka and have been going to that my entire life.

    No better corn anywhere in the world.

    They grill it and dunk the ear into a big cauldron of melted butter..... muy excellente!!

    the fact that there are people on this earth that would consider purchasing an item specifically for buttering corn makes me want to kill myself. one of my buddies got an "avocado scooper" as a wedding present, and I fumed for 10 minutes over the fact that it existed. this kinda shit pisses me off more than almost anything on earth.

    I agree with the avocado scooper, just use a knife and then scoop it out with a spoon but the corn butterer actually makes sense. What other utensil can you use (besides the bread) to butter the corn in a more efficient and effective manner? Its not like its some expensive thing. 6 bucks i think

    since we are talking about corn. corn on the cob is best eaten the day its picked. as soon as its picked the sugar in it starts turning to starch. so the quicker it is eaten the better it will be. thankfully my town is surrounded by nothing but cornfields and the most amazing sweet corn. july and august is made for eaten fresh picked corn.

    i usually just peel back the wax label on a stick of butter and smear it on using the end. Pass it around the table and by the time it gets to the last person its just a sliver of butter and they need a fork to spread the rest.
    I really cake on the butter to...then a half pound of salt. that shit will be the death of me

    not only do i have 6 cool whip bowls in my fridge...none of which actually have cool whip in them...but I have a full array of fine silverware from various Outbacks and Applebees...and a cabinet full of beer glasses from the bar
