ess tried to face chat with me but i was on the crapper and declined :( ...but then called him back.

caught my first house fire last night/this AM around 2. we weren't the first ones in, but still got to do a blind search of the house due to the amount of smoke present. so crazy that you literally have to use the heat of the fire and the sound of you bumping into crap to find your way around. finally caught some fire and got to open up the nozzle a little bit. then we did some overhauling, which is putting out the little spot fires and pulling ceiling/siding down to reveal possible hidden fires. hard work there. i'm in pretty good shape, but that shit kicked my ass...i think it was mainly due to the heat outside/in. even at 2am, it's still probably 90* and humid.
