    My wife saw a hipster waiting for a bus today wearing a wool skull cap. Its like 95f. She said she wanted to stop and rip it off his head. I dont know how to explain this to our 4 year old sitting next to her. (I was driving, they were in the backseat.)

    My moneys on hosing him down wouldve been the top vote getter on the bus.

    I feel way manlier now that I can make and control pretty well a fire. With last night and today I've burned a total of 14 hours and so far half of a huge ash tree from my front yard (beautiful tree that is infested with emerald ashbor and has to come down). Got quoted 900 bucks to chop it down and I said no way I can do that shit myself and it's actually kind of fun. I may post flyers in my neighborhood and try and make a few bucks as like 80 percent also have infested trees at the moment.

    Seen these guys twice over the past few weeks. Group is called Classic Albums Live, and all they do is take classic rock albums and perform them all the way through in order. They take a break and then come back with another hour+ of other hits by the same band. Few weeks ago saw Dark Side of the Moon, then saw Sgt Peppers last night. Great shows for under $35 each (as opposed to the ridiculous costs of mainstream concerts these days). Here are a couple of songs.

    yeah it's pretty brutal. all of chicagoland is slowly seeing effects from them and my city in particular did an awful job of being proactive. You can inject stuff in the tree if you act real soon. Basically 80% of my subdivision is going to have to take their tree down it's going to look awful. My tree was beautiful it's a shame to see it go, not to mention a shit ton of work to take down.

    The phenomenon of seeing specific times on a clock is not unusual. You only remember seeing times that have specific meanings - so when you see 1:11 or 3:33 on the clock, because of the pattern, you remember them. You might see 2:19 or 4:38 and they mean nothing, so you don't remember that.

    It's like a bad beat. You don't remember the 10 times you win with AA vs. KK, but you remember the 2-3 times you lose with AA vs. KK.
