So I've had several people tell me I should do the ancestry thing for a living. The thing is I wouldn't know what to charge people. I've come across "Higher a professional" links in my search and I wondered wtf they charged. It's probably something ridiculous.

Anyway, I need a volunteer. If you are interested in finding out about your ancestors, and you have a not so common name, shoot me a PM and I will send you everything I find over the next 5 days....for free. I just want to see what I can find, kind of a personal test. I'm not actually considering doing it for a living, but it would be some nice supplemental income.
Criteria for a volunteer: You need to have a name that isn't extremely common. Smith, Snyder, Jones etc. won't work. You have to give me a good start, meaning your grand parents names (Born before 1930), approximate birth and death dates, locations. If you have your great grand parents names it would be helpful too. Also, I can research US citizens. I don't have much international access at this time. Including Canada. Disclaimer: Certain states kept better records than others. Virginia, West VA, Texas, NY, California, Delaware...are good examples. Penn, Ohio, Georgia, not so good. But I'll do what I can
