I wrapped the stuff in a couple of baggies and some saran wrap and then taped it up with clear non metallic tape. I basically smashed the weed into a small flat package. I wore two pairs of boxer briefs that were prolly a size too small. Spandex would work well too but two pairs is important. I crotched the package in between my briefs. I wore jeans, do not wear slacks, sweats or shorts. You request a pat down and decline the body scanners. I made sure before hand when I self patted me down I could not feel the package. I had 24 grams of nugs on me and made it through just fine. After I got through security I was paranoid cause I could smell the stuff. In my carry on I had small container in there and I went to the bathroom and transferred it out of my pants before my flight. TSA is a joke imo. I prolly couldve got whatever I wanted on there.

When I did this I wasnt aware of the body scanner flaw yet. They did pat me down but they stopped short of my crotch. The guy just felt up my legs mostly. I was prepared for them to graze my balls. To be honest I couldnt really tell the difference myself when I was patting myself down. Neither could my wife. Just wear thick pants that are not too tight and not too baggy. I wouldnt sweat an eighth at all. Smell was the main concern. I had never flown with nuggs before.

I flew to Mexico a few years ago and took a little under a quarter ounce of some compressed mid-grade type bud. I broke it up in smaller pieces and let it sit out for a week so it didnt smell as much and I stuck little pieces of it inside my socks in my checked luggage. Had perhaps a 1 gram little chunk in every single of my socks and a couple pieces in some pockets of shorts. Had no issues obv.

If you are caught with "contraband" which weed falls under you are at the discretion of the TSA supervisor as to what happens to you. That doesnt mean they will call the cops. In 99 I had my weed found in my carry on bag at BWI. They let me go with my weed. It wasnt much. They were more concerned with the large bag of change I had.

Is it risky flying with weed? Yeah it is. But you have to be smart about it. I have flown with weed about 12 times. Never had an issue.

A few times I just rolled up about 3 joints and stuck em in my wallet.

The only way i'd fly with weed is if i was going to live somewhere for months that didn't have good chronic. Like if i moved to argentina or something.

I knew I would get some hate for posting that stuff but I dont care. I am prolly not the only one on this forum that has flown with weed. It really never seemed like a big deal to me. You have to know what the TSA actually is, what the security measures actually are, and what your rights are when flying. Then go from there. Once you get through security you really do not have much to worry about unless you reek to high heaven.

Yeah pre 9/11 days were crazy. I always thought back then, "Damn I could get anything on this plane and hijack it I bet" I did a lot of flying in 1998-99 and always thought the security wasnt that good. Now obv I still think its a joke. If I thought the security in the airport was capable of catching me with weed I wouldnt try it. But they arent and most of the people employed by the TSA are buffoons tbh.
