can I get an under title for being OT's youngest grandfather? I'm 36 and just found out I'm going to be a grandfather before my 37th birthday... pretty sure no one in OT has that beat

This really sucks, might have broken a bone in my shin/knee playing softball on Monday evening. Tried to take an extra bag, because there was a girl covering 2nd base, so I didn't think there was anyway she would A) be able to catch the ball thrown to her and B) apply a tag, welp she nailed me but the ump missed the call lol, my foot was even still on her leg after he called me safe and I had to step off her and onto the bag yet he didn't change the call. Anyway sliding into second I marked up my knee pretty bad but I heard a pop. It felt pretty awkward all game but I didn't think too much of it, plus its a beer league and I was about 5 beers deep at this point. Fast forward to today and my shin is pretty swollen and I can barely walk, have a dr's appt this afternoon:

Thats the bottom of the swelling, I have the skin burn's bandaged up but the swelling has gotten pretty big.
GG summer fun if this thing is broken and I have to wear a cast for an extended period of time. -

On a related note, fuck the drs office makes me go to them first instead of giving me a prescription for an xray over the phone, instead I gotta come here and pay them my co-pay/visit...greedy bastards -

Also, sliding in vs a girl (if the girl is good enough that she knows what she is doing then it's a moot point because you wouldn't have tried to leg it out vs her) is poor form in a beer league.

are you guys serious? I'm 25 years old in a restaurant league (so almost everyone in the league is <30 years old) and I was sliding into 2nd base. For it being a league where you can drink it is still highly competitive.Originally Posted by SevenCostanza

Im not going out there to hit a single for my wife and kids, I'm going out to play because I like to be active and I'm a competive.

Same tetanus shit happened to me the other day too. Did something to me knee running, got an xray and was just told to stay off of it until my recheck in two weeks, suks I cant run for a while. Then he comes outta left field and I get nailed with the shot too. Shit actually made my arm sore for last day or so. -
