Sorry for your loss lameass, pretty crazy story your grandpa lived through. And holy hell you run good with family members. How old are you? I'm thinking mid 20's, thought I read it on here somewhere. Regardless, to not have lost any other close family members at your age (assuming you're over 16 lol) is not something many people can say.
Oh, your cousins and uncle sound like fucksticks.
My other cousin has his war medals, but he actually appreciates them...i gotta find a way to get that shit from them damnit! -

Friends owing you $$$ situation:
Back in Feb. my buddy and I decided to go to the casino and gamble a bit. He told me he was not taking his debit card so that he doesn't have the option to reload. We both sit at a 1/2 table and within an hour he goes bust. He borrows my card, does this a couple of times (I've lent him >$500 on a couple of occasions and he's always paid right away) to the tune of him owing me $700 when all is said and done. I told him no sweat and to get it to me when he could.
He recently moved into a new place with his girl (June) so I told hm not to worry etc and get it to me when he can. I then see he took a trip to Vegas in July, which I was like, whatever, not a huge deal he'll get it to me. He also is the buddy I buy my eagles season tickets with. Well he tells me, first game of the year I'll get you at least half the cash and game two we will be squared. A week before game 1 we went golfing and he paid my golf so I said knock $50 off the total. Come eagles game he hands me $50 and says he will keep paying me in $50-$100 incriments and I'm like WTF? I'd rather just get it all at once.
Now apparently since I told him about my plans to go to new orleans, he is also booking the trip, at this point I'm pretty pissed. He's one of my best friends and I know he will repay me but JFC stop taking trips and payign me little by little. Really don't want to call him out for the $$$ but I'd rather just get paid the remaining $600 then get $50 payments whenever he can until like next Feb lol.
Moral of my rant: Don't lend $$ to friends most* friends. -
Is his girl 80 years old? Don't think I've ever met a June younger than that before
-
I'd say you have to blame yourself for this situation. You friend purposely doesn't bring his debit card to play poker but you let him use yours to the tune of $700???? I don't even know what to say about that. Then you tell him he can pay you back whenever. Now he's just paying you $50 at a time and I'm suspecting that you've said nothing to him about this. Also, he's taking trips, some with you and you still don't bring up the fact that he owes you a decent amount of money. I don't really understand the logic here.

60-70mph gusts of wind here and I woke up to a huge crashing sound. At first I thought the neighbors tree finally snapped and fell on my vehicles....but it was more tragic than I thought:

As Im out there choking back the tears from my grill being killed, I hear a rip, sort of like someone's pants splitting:

friggin Gazeebo was only 3 months old. The canopy tore to shreds.
Oh, and my daughter found a chicken foot in her spicy chicken nuggets from McD's
I took a pic of it but photobucket is being really slow for some reason
