  1. Michigan vs. OSU. Does anyone really see this being a ball game?

The only team close to OSU I was hoping would be Auburn but it looks like it will be Texas. OSU will have to really fuck up to lose this year, I don't think Jim Tressel will let that happen. Compared to the opponents OSU is the most dominant team in recent college football history up to this point. I hope they pull it off.
  2. 10????????? r u crazy.. how about 7. :)
  3. if its 7 in Columbus I will mortgage all of families houses.

  4. I agree that OSU is far and away the best team in the country.

However, Michigan's defense is realllllllllllllly stout. I don't know if OSU will be able to put up many points, If Michigan is able to avoid turnovers and put together a few strong drives, they could easily come out on top in this one.

This could be a 20-10 OSU win, or it could be a 13-10 Michigan win. I wouldn't be surprised at either case.

  5. Does anyone know the site where they post lines for big games like this one early? I'm almost positive I read the line was at -7 earlier this week.
  6. I agree with BGX that this is a much more even matchup then most people think. Honestly, the only real advantage I see is the home field, talent wise I really dont see that big of a disparity betweeen the two teams.
  7. well than its time to mortgage your house..it will be close to 7..pinnacle may give -6.5..but it will not be more than 10.
  8. wow, did you guys see they beat Northwestern 17-3. Many people know more about sports than I do but if it is 7 or below I will be making a bet.

  9. their defense is too goot and that's coming from a buckeye..that 350+ line they have is sick..the game could go either way and OSU is not a lock in this game but def a good bet..i'd say 3 or 4 units?
  10. The best 1 loss team is Florida, and its not even close.
  11. no, it's actually pretty close.

and LOL if OSU is not favored by at least a touchdown vs michigan
  12. The score was 17-3 because it was raining out for 3 quarters of the game and Heyne couldn't throw the ball and Lloyd Carr was playing protecting Mike Hart by backups for half the game. I'd laugh my ass off if Smith gets hurt in garbage time cause Tressel's trying to beef up his stats for the heisman like Stoops did with Peterson.
  13. everyone sees this being a ballgame. everyone sees this being a national title game eliminator, and for good reason. Ohio State's offense is sick. I have seen Michigan's defense live, and they are sick as well. it will be an epic battle.

Auburn is unworthy of national title consideration, having lost to Arkansas by 17 at home, and struggled to beat Ole Miss by 6 on the road. Texas struggled against T. Tech tonight. The best 1 loss team left is whoever wins b/w Louisville and WVU Thursday night--and even that team has to get through Rutgers, which remains undefeated. lots of football left to be played.
  14. The best one loss team is the loser of the Mich/OSU Game. Florida is going to get stuck with a SEC championship game!!! Florida winning by 7 today is just as sick as Auburn winning by 6.
  15. I really see the general public that doesn't watch as many ohio state/michigan games betting on OSU no matter what the spread in simply based on the scores of OSU's past games, which will most likely cost them alot of money. I really can't see any teams beating Michigan's defense by more then a TD, including OSU. Michigan is a team made to play these big games and winning these big games is what Lloyd Carr has done best over the years no matter how good or bad his team was he usally has a very good game plan for his team and hopefully they'll come out with a win if they can execute it.

I'll be taking the Michigan ML if things stay the same up until nov. 18th, gl~
  16. its gonna open at 4.5. and mich will probably win.

  17. Lay the 6-8 pts., take the buckeyes, and come out a winner. Florida has the best shot at taking Ohio State down, and looking like the Gators will take care of business from here out.
  18. What have the Gators done this season that makes you think that?
  19. Beanie's lock of the century O RLY?
  20. Oh I dont know, maybe 7-1 on the #1 toughest schedule in NCAA football u clown.
Not saying they are worthy of playing for a title game yet, but if they win out including the SEC title then they undoubtedly will.

  21. I'm not saying they're a bad team or anything, just don't think they would stand a chance vs OSU. Saying they have a better chance at taking Ohio State down then Michigan when Michigan has show how they can dominate in big games this year might be a long shot.
  22. The spread is -7 for OSU, some of the Vegas books have already released this future bet.

  23. LOL. Mich. has dominated an under achieving Notre Dame team, and beat Wisconsin. Other than that nothing to hang the hat on, and other than the big game coming up they have cupcakes left.
  24. Compared to a lost to Auburn and a 1 point game that could have gone either way in the end vs Tennessee?
  25. You are talking about games against two top 10 teams. Against Auburn the Gators played like shit. I think Gators can beat OSU if they actually show up for 4 quarters
  26. I love all this talk...If Michigan beats OSU, it will create a rematch in the National Title game, regardless of who is #3, OSU will not fall far enough. If OSU beats Michigan, the very same could happen, although I doubt it if ND runs the table, too much politics for a ND title shot...USC will lose again before the year is out, and so will Florida more than Likely in the SEC championship game.

I see a scenario of a 1 loss team being the national champ with undefeated teams on the oputside looking in...Michigan beats OSU, the title gives us a rematch and OSU wins...WVU goes undefeated and doesn't have a chance to play for the title. Pretty lame, but it could happen.
  27. the real best team WAS louisville, still a damn good team without vick tho...
  28. The Gators cannot beat OSU..LMAO...And they dont even deserve the chance to be on the same field...It Should Remain an unbeaten Vs. an UnBeaten...That is until a playoff system is installed
  29. I have watched all of the SEC all year. There is no team that is as good as OSU. Florida may be the best, but they aren't as good as Texas IMO.

  30. IMO, this game is going to be a war and I'm taking Michigan at +7 or greater for sure.

20-17 Michigan---and this is totally unbiased. I'm a PSU fan and hate both.

GL Beanie w/ the family mortgages.
