Tonight's Tuesday Night Football game capped off yet another great season of the P5s OT FFB Megaleague! I'd like to thank all participants for another smoothly operated season; I can't recall a single dispute all year.

First thing to discuss is the winners of the regular season leagues. Both teams who played in their championship games will receive money this year, with the League Champion receiving $240 and the runner up earning $120.



If you were one of these teams, I need you to do the following:

1. Post in the Yahoo League Lobby with your Pocketfives name. I ask this so we can verify who is who with different Team names/Yahoo names/P5s names/stars names.

2. Post ITT with a screen shots showing your yahoo post as well as your league championship matchup.


3. PM RJA87 on P5s your stars name so he can ship you money.


I know it seems annoying to do, but RJA and I really don't want any problems occuring with people getting paid out who shouldn't. It also shouldn't take you but 5 minutes at the absolute most. I've even linked his profile to his name so you don't have to search.







Secondly, we need to figure out the participants for the OT Megaleague Playoff Pool! For those who need reminding, the Playoff pool works as follows:


Playoff Pool:
At the end of the NFL Regular Season, the 5 divison champions + the highest remaining point totals will go on to play a Fantasy Playoff Pool for the main pool (what everyone put $20 in for). The league will draft from scratch, be a points league (as opposed to head-to-head), and play all 4 weeks of the playoffs.

All the Individual League winners will order themselves based upon regular season point totals, then the wild card winnings will order themselves based upon regular season point totals. The draft order will start with the highest seeded League Winner and end with the lowest seeded Wild Card. All teams are wiped clean and all players whose real life team makes the postseason are put into the draft pool. People then draft players one at a time snake style (standard draft) to fill their roster. The catch is that once a players real life team is eliminated, they clearly cannot gain you more points. You have to have the right balance of high scoring players and players that will get to play more games than everyone else. There are no add/drops in the this league, and there is no bench.









That means, I need the following screen shots from each league in this thread:

1. The Championship matchup results so that we can determine who the 5 megaleague winners are

2. The regular season standings, so we can determine both the winners order (which is based on regular season points) as well as the highest point total team that did not win so we can have our wildcard.


Those 6 participants need to post itt as well as PM Me (look, its linked too so you dont even have to scroll up to the top of this post) with when you're available to do a draft which will take place over some form of AIM or Skype sometime next wekk (after week 17, before playoffs). The draft last year took about 90 minutes IIRC.

I'll update this thread with a link to the google spreadsheet once the draft is over and each week after that with scoring updates.

Just wanted to post a giant thank you to DetUCF for taking charge of this and keeping it alive. It means a lot that someone else was willing to step in once I could not. I think my days of commishing serious leagues are over (hell, the first league I commished was in 1998, when I used the USA Today to do scores manually... those were the days), but I think I'll play next year.

Its really not a big deal, it operates really smoothly once you get through the pain of getting the leagues set up. A much bigger thanks to you for coming up with the idea all those years ago. It's definitely my favorite league to participate in, despite my inability to do well ever.

Since this whole thing needs to be scheduled and worked around 7 different peoples schedule, I need to have them contact me by Monday night. So if you know them, point them into this direction. If I havnt heard from them by Tuesday at noon est, I'll have to make arrangements for their replacements. I really do not wish to do this, but I cant wait til last minute with this.

All 6 participants have been in contact now, and we have settled on a draft time of Wed Jan 5th @ 8pm EST. The draft order will be determined by regular season points scored for the league winners (1 being highest, 5 being lowest) and the Wildcard after them.

A few question have been asked, so let me clear them up now:

1. The positions drafted will be

Due to how shallow the pool is, the Flex spot will not be used.


2.The scoring will be the same as the regular leagues.


3. There is no bench, and no add/drops. Your drafted roster is your roster. As long as your players are scoring points in the playoffs, they will score points in our league. However, it's difficult to score points from the golf course in the AFC championship week.
