Those rumors were just that...rumors. There was a 0% chance that we were gonna draft Tannehill. That would make no sense whatsoever. Carroll has three years left on his contract and a team that may be on the brink of contending. To sign Flynn and then use a first round pick on a QB that we'd have to develop when Pete probably has two years left to make us into a legitimate contender would be nothing short of absurd. pretty awful day so far for the state of missouri. tbh hope it gets worse this weekend when the kings roll into town. rams should just trade back again imo or take decastro even though they have much bigger needs.

Why the fuck didn't Tampa take Claiborne at #5? All they got for the pick was the 101 overall in the 4th round... I am not very happy with this move. Sigh.
The only thing I can think is that the DB coach for LSU had some input in this. Anybody who didn't know, the LSU DB coach from last year was hired by Tampa Bay and will be their DB coach this year. Can't imagine passing up on Claiborne when he is available, unless there was some inside info from that coach. Its not like Tampa got a ton of value for the swap in picks. -
