    also it's really cool how much the crowd is enjoying it. it looks like ppl running in circles to me

    I've been watching since halftime I think I figured it out. Its like rugby but a little more fluid and pussy. You can pass it forward and run with it(?) If you kick it through the inside one it is 6 points(?), outside one 1 point. If you kick it and someone catches it in the air it is a free kick. If you have a tie up the ref bounces the ball as like a jump ball. And best of all, if you go out of bounces, the ref gets to throw it in, over his head, while facing the other direction.

    I can imagine that there are some pretty sick fights in the crowds of these matches.

    Have no idea what's going on either, but I can see really getting into this if it was on a lot.

    I watched it since halftime, seemed like a pretty ridiculous comeback, don't think I've seen a full aussie rules football game before but this one was fucking awesome. Absolutely ridiculous though that it ends in a draw and they replay the entire game next week, hopefully espn shows that one too

    Yellow guy = Umpire

    Any ball that doesn't go out of bounds on the full (kicked in the air over the boundary line with out bouncing or being touched by any player) = umpire throws it in and both teams go for it.

    Yes only 1 point for hitting the goal post.

    That was only the 3rd Grand Final to draw in AFL history
