Any chance someone from the company put the gps on? They don't have Gus but the stuff keeps falling off the truck. Track the barrel to Mr. White?
I hope Walt Jr./the baby doesn't die in a car wreck. 500 HP is a dangerous thing to give a 17 yo. Especially one whose feet don't work. -
why didnt they show mikes respponse to walt when he says "there will be no tampering down of production"
-
Couldn't have really said it better. I love how the first few episodes built up to this breaking point between Walt and Skylar.

Fair to say Walts cancer comes back end of this season? In the flash forward he coughs and takes meds. He didn't cough at all season 4 or up to now in season 5a.
I couldn't be more impressed with Mike. Actor and character. After all his small time roles in career he finally is making thebest work of his blue collar career. -
yeah def looks to be back. Just wonder if season 5A ends with the flash forward or it takes place sometime in Season 5B.

calling it right now. I bet Walt Jr. dies in a car crash and that sends Walt into a ruthless rage. -

The lights went out at 55, not 52. Just re-watched. Also when they cut to black at the end I think there's the sound of a gun cocking. -
Guys, I need you to settle a debate between the woman and I.
Question: What is the slang term used for the money launderer in a drug operation? Essentially, the role Skylar is playing at the carwash? I think Saul introduced the term a season ago. Thanks. -
I think this is spot on. I can also see Skylar killing herself. She has definitely lost the appetite for the business, and clearly hates herself (for cheating on Walt and being a drug dealer via proxy) but doesn't have the heart to go as far as Walt goes. With these strings no longer attached, it's understandable that he stares at an M-60 machine gun in the flash forward at the beginning of the season.

not sure why skyler gets the hate. walt jr is a worthless character
-
would celebrate if walt jr is next to go
-
While I really like this show, I don't think it's terribly unpredictable at this point. There is ricin. Walt Jr. Is a mania driver with a fast car. Skylar is awful from Walt's perspective, and we KNOW Walt has a different name in a year. They probably both die (Walt Jr. by the car and Skylar by the ricin) by the end of the show (and maybe the "season")

i can't remember saying to myself "hell yea walt jr!" or feeling any sort of good feelings for him...seems like a waste of space

speaking of; that's another thing. the baby. half the time you forget they even have the baby. What exactly was the purpose of introducing that baby into the storyline? It's never had any sort of integral part in any plot line ever. It's sort of just, there..

The baby added an extra emotional dimension to Walt's cancer. knowing that skylar is pregnant and he is likely leaving behind a daughter that he will never meet and the difficulties skylar will face if walt dies of the cancer.
The baby also keeps skylar's character in the show for coming seasons. I don't think they knew how long the show would last, and how much time it would span, when they set out; nor, how deep Walt would get into the industry. If JR. goes off to college and there is no chiild it gives skylar an easier excuse to leave walt. -
I feel this show is totally unpredictable. The viewers are constantly kept in the dark especially when Gus was around. I believe the ricin is just a decoy. It being used to hurt his family seems too predictable. Have you been on the money in the predictions department Warden? What dont you like about this show?

I think Hank knows walt is in deep, but also Knows the DEA is corrupted. Everybody dies imo
-
also when jr. left walt's birthday party i believe it was, hank told him to slow down and jr. said , "never" real nonchalantly as he was walkin away. i could def see this happening

Is it just me or does it feel like there's a big boss behind all of this? Someone Mike reports to but someone who keeps his hands clean? Like cleaner than Gus? Gotta remember that Gus only ran one state in the whole country... who controls the rest?
I found it a bit annoying that the Madrigal head honcho who offed himself earlier wasn't given much of a background. Maybe the real head of Madrigal who sat with the DEA and said something like "innocent men don't commit suicide" is the guy. I think it has to go deeper than Mike and Lydia seeing as though so much of the $$ from the new operation is being put aside by Mike for uncertain overheads -
Skyler isn't going to kill herself unless both the kids are already dead. Doesn't seem likely to me that it plays out like that.
Skyler is way more unlikeable than should have been. The writers have done her no favors at all. She was insufferable in seasons 1 and 2. The latest confrontation with Walt, however, was terrific in pretty every way. It's just too late. Look no further than The Sopranos for a multitude of fantastic, multidimensional characters in this type of tv show.
It isn't necessarily a bad thing that a show is not unpredictable. Part of what made the last stretch of Sopranos episodes so powerful was the sense of foredoomed inevitability that they carried. -
As if I needed this...
Aaron Paul @aaronpaul_8
On tonight's episode of Breaking Bad shit gets crazy. -
Another fucking fantastic episode.....The ending was a little obvious though...
