Pat Hill will no longer be the man roaming the Fresno State sidelines.
-
lol at MSU fans bringing up urban
1st of all, you have to deal with him too.
2nd of all, Michigan ain't scared. 10-2, bout to go win the Sugar Bowl and be 11-2, one of the top recruiting classes in the country already, just signed another 4-star WR today, bout to poach the #5 RB from Ohio State, Hokeamania, Mattinsanity, BRING IT BITCHESSS -
My jaw literally dropped, to the floor, when i saw Va Tech was selected to a BCS game after getting pummeled by a reeling Clemson team. I mean I literally did a double take!
I guess it sucks for K state to quietly go through their schedule and Boise losing a game but geez this bowl system is downright retarded.
I would've actually enjoyed watching Baylor in a BCS game if they were gonna be like this. -
You Michigan guys realize who you start the season with next year, right?
-
i don't remember having something like this happen; both teams in the Cotton Bowl are ranked higher than both teams in the Sugar Bowl (who both got at-large bids).
has that happened before? -
first time ive agreed with one of ur football posts this year.

hmmk
pretty excited for next year in general tho, 11-1 seems thoroughly possible. And who knows, Alabama is losing at least 9 starters, might just shock the world. -

Bama will lose some top players, but this has been happening since Saban came in, someone fills in.
I'm glad we're playing a better team from the Big 10 than Penn St. -
Only loss is against TCU who happens to be ranked and Boise gets to go to a shit MAACO bowl?!?!
Unfuckingreal!!! -
If both bama and osu win their bowl games....what percentage of first place votes do the pokes get.
..10%...20%....more?
I am guessing 15-25% -
Who cares about votes. Bcs championship is the only thing that matters. Votes mattering ended tonight.

Most disappointing bowl match ups I think I have ever witnessed.
-
baylor vs washington in alamo bowl will be a fn fun game to watch.
Expect both teams to go over 35pts
But unless wash has a +2 or more in turnovers baylor should prevail.
Baylor 48
Wash 38 -
Pretty awesome that I don't have to travel to go to the Iowa game.
Bama, Clemson, Mich, Ok. St, and Wisc all win -
So can they just come out and say what truly matters in college football? Whichever programs have the biggest fan base + winnign record = bcs birth. How the number 1 conferance from top too bottom(big 12 according too computers) gets one team in the BCS, while the ACC gets 2 somehow, and how MICH goes over MSU when MIchigan played one of the softest schedules in Div 1 football history. Or how the SEC gets same amount of BCS teams as the ACC, Big 10, pac, lol are you kidding me. The 3 weakest conferances this year all get 2 teams, god this blows my mind.
It's all shady money grabs.
delusional homers gonna delusional homer. you're out of your mind if you think Washington has any chance in that game. Washington would go 1-9 against the 10 big 12 teams this year. -
dont be mad at michigan that when they scheduled their season a year or two years ago that they knew ND was gonna choke on a fat cock and that nebraska was gonna shit the bed along with tattoo u. and how can you argue that MSU deserves to go to the BCS... just LOL at that. mich doesnt deserve it either but MSU is ranked 17th in the bcs so they dont deserve it either. if you want to argue the system then truthfully it should have been the top two eligible teams in that game, boise and kstate.

Edited By: Duffy08 Dec 5th, 2011 at 05:34 AMMSU beats M and then is forced too play an extra game against the best team in the big 10 and loses by 3 points so it kicks them out of BCS!? god it's infuriatingly shady. Va tech loses too a worse Clemson team and BOTh get taken in. M scheduled 3 FCS teams or whatever you call them, AND still found 2 losses on that schedule in a DOWN big 10 year. Every single conferance strength calculator has the ACC at 5th or worse and 2 teams got in, big 12 is nearly always TOP according too conferance strength and has 1.Originally Posted by shallowcal

And I'm not arguing MSU should get in, big 10 shouldve gotten 1 team PLAIN AND SIMPLE this year. if there was a 2nd team, then CLEARLY beyond any shadow of doubt, MSU is the 2nd best team from that conferance and I would love too see how any Michigan fan can say they are the 2nd best team in a shitty big 10 this year. VA tech getting in was still way worse than M getting in. -
3 loss teams don't get at-large bids, its really that simple.

And per Sagarin, Michigan's schedule was the 6th hardest among the 10 BCS teams...I'm not claiming we went through a grindhouse, but its a far sight from "one of the softest schedules in Div 1 football history." You might also be interested to know that Sagarin considers Michigan and MSU's schedules to be about as equal as it gets: MSU at 41st-hardest and Michigan at 42nd.
Blame the Big Ten for adding Nebraska and a championship game, not the BCS.Originally Posted by Duffy08

Well, we're ranked higher in every poll, so...Originally Posted by Duffy08

edit: oh and MSU wouldn't have been in this situation if they could've taken care of business vs. Notre Dame (you know, the way Michigan did...) -
dont ever refer to me as a MSU fan partner...O H...just laughing at Michigan fans who are so proud of this years team
