Will be covering foreign policy
Obv Romney's weakest area. O/U 20 times he brings up Benghazi? O/U 20 times Obama points out he stuck to his 08 promises? I don't really like either of them when it comes to this issue, they are both rather weak, and widely agree on much of it.
I will give this debate to Obama. Romney is just too lost when it comes to the big issues here, and I can't see him making it through the night without saying something stupid like he did over and over on his world tour. He'll just ramble about Benghazi and Obama's comment about putting light between the US and Israel. But, he really has nothing to run on here at all, just rather weak attacks of the President's record. The President only needs to bring the game he brought in the 2nd debate and he wins this by a wider margin than he won the last one. The election is locked up tonight by Obama. Final verdict 292 electoral votes Obama, 246 Romney.
Of all the debates, this is the one I wish Gary Johnson was at. Would be great for all 3rd party candidates to watch him crush both of these fools on FP. -
how can you give the debate to Obama before they even have the debate?
-
How is Gary Johnson's fp different from Ron Paul? Don't know if it is even similar. Serious question, have no idea what his fp is

he's a little more willing to intervene (which can be preferable to paul at times) and he sometimes says absolutely stupid things (like that we should go after kony)
-
meh, i would offer that everyone pretty much has their minds made up at this point anyway.
-
I'm still undecided, hopefully this one will help me choose the best guy for the job...

GL tonight Mittens

Bears game tho

For some reason, I believe Romney's lack of a record with regards to foreign policy could work in his favor tonight. Obama's record is OK, but there are a lot of opportunities to make Obama's FP look bad since party lines don't really clarify voter's foreign policy preferences. I think defense will be the less divisive topic, but that economic policy could sway towards Romney. Foreign bank bailouts by the fed, Euro instability, and Chinese trade might all favor Romney because new ideas don't sound as good coming from an incumbent, even though in practice both would likely continue down similar paths. If Romney keeps spouting off about war with Iran, strong-arming the Chinese about trade policies, and advocating the cold war defense buildup, then he'll lose.

I will not be watching this one. I watched both of the previous debates and now they want to schedule this on a night with MNF and the NLCS. FFB beats out a presidential debate any night!

You bring less than nothing to the conversation by casting final judgments based on your own bias. I mean it's one thing to be biased, we all are simply as a function of being human. But to make the leap from that normalcy to "I will give this debate to Obama," takes a special and relatively unique kind of confirmation bias. Congrats on having the reasoning abilities of a fifth grader. -
I equated his giving the debate to Obama to making a prediction before a football game. It's not like he called it a lock
-
LOL... You're really high on your horse today. Maybe you can jump off and enjoy the festivities with the rest of us, instead of equating justifiable bias with forum grammar teachers. Jumping to overt and biased conclusion not only makes for a much more entertaining form of conversation, it makes for an overall more entertaining life. Just keep trotting along judging others without knowing their means based on your bias conclusions.

Romney's FP: Let's police the world, intervene in every country to help them. Put trillions more dollars into the military. But we are going to lower taxes at home, stop borrowing money from China, and lower the deficit.
Sounds foolproof -

ffs you Obama zombies are almost as much of a joke as this political circus itself. Whoever wins the election we the citizens lose.
2 weeks everyone, 2 weeks. -
There are actually going to be people watching the debate without any bias? Seriously?
Edited By: Zeppelin Oct 22nd, 2012 at 09:57 PM
sounds like you already have your bias against both of them -
it just such a fucking joke to even have a discussion about the debates then. Whats the pt, at least be neutral when discussing issues and keep an open mind. When you go in only giving credit to what O/R says, then its a waste of everyones effort.

I am voting for Romney, but i can agree with some things Obama says. When you give the debate to someone before it even begins, it just shows how much of a joke this all is.
Whatever, enjoy your fruitless arguments. Im going to the bar to watch the Lions roll. -
Good thing youre going to the Lions game with no bias... Sad youre giving them the game b4 it even happens... Clown shoes
Such nit pickings from my op. Failure to digest it all just shows you fit your discription of "a fucking joke" to the tee. -
I would be shocked if Realbigfish didn't give Obama the debate before it happened, anyone can give the debate to anyone. I mean without Obama even saying a word in the debate yet I already know he has been a complete disaster when it comes to foreign policy.
