Well sounds like there are a lot of doubters out there this year of the Magic. No one thought we'd make it to the ship in 09 either. Last year we dominated the Hawks in the playoffs but I dont think itll be as easy. I expect 6 games as long as we play defense.

One thing I will say is we've never lost a playoff game at the Amway Center :)

The key for the Hawks the rest of the post season (which my last another week, or another month) is going to be their mental make-up. They now have all the physical tools and X's and Os to win basketball games. The big difference in this years Hawks and those of the past is the defense of Henrich. Bibby killed us on the defensive side- any PG could blow past him at will. That is not the case any more.

The Hawks are sound defensively at every position (although Crawford is a liability when he is in the game, which is pretty frequent), and they can score fine. As long as J. Smith isn't taking those dumbass jump shots, Hawks offense should be fine. Their biggest issue will be whether they can develop a killer instinct and put teams away- we should find this out against Orlando, b/c clearly the Magic are a good matchup for the Hawks and there is no reason why Hawks shouldn't close this out in 6. They have always had a fragile physci (sp?) and get rattled too easily. If this is the year they can finally get over that hurdle, then there is no reason they can't make a deep run b/c they have the players and the depth to get the job done.
