disregarded list after seeing irving ahead of rubio

Also Iggy gotta be DPOY right now. Philly most efficient defense in the league with no real post defenders. You don't see that often and it's a tribute to Iggy's ridiculous defense.

irving pretty much has better numbers across the board and has way less talent around him
devin harris should be on the declining list, wth happened to him this year -
No love for Kobe? Fuck this thread:
-
Where is Kobe for MVP ? He only leads the league in scoring
-
Bryant is 2nd honorable mention. he's not near the efficiency of the other 3. howard beats him out
-
Anderson is having a career year. But last year was a previous career year at the time. Can't be most improved when he was already quite good. Quietly good, but he's been good.

I think RR lost all his hype to the Lin media machine. he's a quality player & deserves recognition for how hot he started. -
Hibbert is same as RA. great year, but he was very good previously.
George and Teague took huge leaps in performance, have gained increasing roles. George is a crunch-time go-to player now after just being a rotation guy. Teague went from subpar backup to running the show on a winning team -
DPOY: I like Bron and Iggy over Chandler
Most declined=Lamar Odom
David Lee deserves some consideration on the 6th man of other team's offense.
Most improved should be a tough selection, but if Lin can go 16/8 he's got it. Anderson is a good pick. Greg Monroe deserves a mention, as does James Harden. Had he not missed a month, Gallo would be my pick. -
double post. and Damian Wilkins for most worthless, i'm shocked he's still in the league.

or rubio has better assist, steals, and rebounding numbers and you are only looking at numbers related to shooting when thats not rickys game anyways?

Edited By: SCTrojans Feb 24th, 2012 at 08:26 PMI would assume its much more difficult to go from a solid player to a borderline all-star than it is to go from a complete random to a solid player. Ryan Anderson has a higher PER increase than both Teague and George and it came at a higher level of play. If Jeremy Lin continues exactly what he has done over the last 12 games for the rest of the season he will very likely win it. But with his game against Miami and his declining numbers overall I'm not convinced it will.Originally Posted by Hughes4

there's a difference in MIP from previously not as good to previously underrated.....
Lee is definitely a starter on the all-terrible defense team. Curry's a bit worse.
I completely overlooked Lamar. My only regret so far -
no love for Doug Collins for COY?
didn't Wallace already announce he's done after this year? That should be gold worthy, unless you're expecting the other 2 to retire mid season -
whoa there slick. Currently George and crunch time\go to player dont belong in a sentence. Hibberts game has grown tremendously from last year, although I do agree he was "good" last year

i was just kind of saying who should be done...

my view is that collins is a very good coach..but that roster should win games, especially with their schedule. you dont get credit for holding serve imo. I think the spurs, wolves, and mavs are vastly outperforming what their rosters should be expected to. -
Lin's #'s will definitely go down as will his minutes decrease and teams adjust. He is a good player with a future in the NBA but wouldn't be shocking to see Baron Davis become the starter, especially if he keeps turning the ball over at such a high rate .
