After playing with teammates like LeBron took to the finals in Cleveland, going under .500, missing playoffs, and demanding a trade if they didn't get him help (even though he basically forced Shaq away), then finally getting help after Lakers trade-raped Grizzlies to get Pau Gasol...yep, he did.

Edited By: rocksolid124 May 9th, 2012 at 06:27 AMYou're right; Kobe's obv not an all time great. Thank God for Pau Gasol. I feel bad for Michael Jordan though. Scottie Pippen just makes everything MJ did with the Bulls moot. Thank God for Scottie Pippen though.Originally Posted by JRoth15

You say he won 2 rings post-Shaq, so I figured I'd fill in the blanks on what a cocksucking bitch he was before the Lakers got him help.
Commence with your fondling of Kobe's balls, please. -
Haters gona present some compelling arguments~
-
Kobe hasn't won a championship without Derek Fisher.
I report, you decide. -
It's almost like letting a guy iso for a 25 footer isn't optimal.

That was an unbelievable game.
JaVale McGee's highlight reel tonight is one for the ages.
The Nuggets played out of their minds. The degree of difficulty and the talent it took for them to get the ball into the hoop are why the NBA is the basketball pinnacle. Kobe catching fire was insane. It's games like this that make me scratch my head at the people that prefer college ball.
I'm still in awe of all those McGee plays and the way the Nuggets managed to score the ball tonight. Just...damn! -
are there any cavs fans here or anybody that watched those cavs teams that mike brown coached? has he always been terrible? karl is making him look like an idiot. he is being severely out coached. playing blake and sessions together as many minutes as he does is bad enough but then leaving blake on miller as he is continually getting smoked is laughable.

why are these coaches so god damn afraid.
guess this explains why lebron could never win in cleveland. -
Nuggets D is legit, they double and recover really well. Hats Off. Mghee is my new favorite player, and Manimal. Bynum could really learn alot from how hard they play. He is such a spoiled dick.

unbelievable. In the OKC game Kobe plays lights out down the stretch and misses 2 game winning shot attempts but OKC can't buy a bucket and the Lakers manage to win--It was Jordan like and Kobe proved he is the most clutch player in the league again.
Flash forward, Kobe plays lights out down the stretch, misses a couple game tying shots in the final seconds and he lacks it in the clutch. Facebook abuzz on his failures (from Laker fans)
That isn't a Kobe hating post fyi, it's a public perception post -

Did he really force Shaq away? Seems like Shaq is pretty capable of jumping from team to team nonstop without much help from teammates.

very, very, very good article on grantland right now about greg oden: http://www.grantland.com/story/_/id/...plagued-career

Just finished reading it.
Really good article. Awful luck for him and impossible not to think "what could have been" -
His boy wrote it so it's admittedly biased but still a sick read. The video of him and Conley vs Gordon was insane.

Great article if any training staff can get him healthy enough to contribute to a team it's phoenix.

I pray the Brooklyn Nets go nowhere near Oden. And if they do, I hope he gets jacked for his Iphone.

LOL!!!
Odds line on CP3 vs Westbrook 1 on 1 - Prison Rules - First to 21? -
you can't let something go that is an ongoing phenomenon.
tell the entire NBA media to let it go lol.
I would love to bring in Greg for like 2 million as a backup center, he'd be great. I think he should keep away from the NY media. He belongs in Indiana

4 minutes in, there must have been at least 12 whistles so far
