no thread? could be an epic night if butler can pull it out.
heres hoping.
line is -3 uconn. WUG? thoughts/opinions/in game madness.
LETS GET READY TO RUMBLE -
pretty sure its self explanatory why there is no debate/replies ITT.
-
More than epic. Will go down in sports lore as one of the all time best stories. One Time Butler!!!
-
UConn pulls out early, Butler pulls close but trails by 4 at the half
Butler comes out strong in the 2nd half and wins by 5 -
I don't think so. This year just proves that there's no dominant team in college basketball. If you go back through the NCAA Tournament champions of the last decade, pretty much every champion had the best team in retrospect. They had teams with NBA-level talent or a great NCAA senior.

I agree that it's not the best way to determine the best team, but the dominant, great teams prevail in this format. A year like this just shows that such a team does not exist.
And let's face it, sports isn't fair. The NFL's system is ridiculous, but we love it. In MLB, a 162 game season can be ruined for the best team by a five game series. It is what it is. -
hot start for both teams...

This will be the first time in the last 10 years that a team NOT ranked in the top 2 in the Pomeroy rankings will win the national championship. -
