Trade: Hightower and Colston for Ochocinco and Tolbert. Who wins here?
Need to start 2 in PPR:
S Smith North
B Lloyd
K Walter
M Clayton -
T.O. or T.Jones at flex?
CIN vs TB
PHI @ SF
CHI @ CAR
Was going to take da bears D but with cutler out am unsure? Bengals sound good too....... -
I'd probably go with Thomas Jones... They're going to be running alot and Indy isn't the greatest at stopping the run, as you know. Even if he gets 10 touches thats still probably a better expected outcome than what TO will have, im not buying him after the game last weekend. He had a massive 200 yard game in buffalo too, but didn't follow it up. If he has another great game then i'll get on the TO train.

assuming north means New York, I go with Steve Smith and Lloyd. -
Since Vick is probably not playing, I have to start either Kolb@ San Fran or McNabb v GBP my other qb is Orton who is second to only Manning in yds and is basically on fire this year.

Also as a 4th wr bc Mendenhall is on a bye:
Garcon v KCC ( Collie may be out so he'd be #2)
R. Williams v Ten
my other wrs are: Boldin, Nicks, and Floyd
Critical week as im 5th at 2-2 and the teams above me have sustained some injuries. Thanks for the help! Ill reply to you if you reply to me. Non ppr league, std scoring 10 yds a pt, 6 for a td
Reason: adding in scoring -
need 2 running back.. starting foster for sure.. pick one other
Edited By: tjbird13 Oct 8th, 2010 at 09:26 PM
mathews vs oak
tolbert vs oak
mccoy vs SF
spiller vs jac
also at reveiver start 3
harvin vs nyj
jennings vs was
fitz vs NO
m williams tb vs cin.
gaffney vs bal
eagleeye i go with kolb and williams garcon stank...
Reason: i changed start 2 wr to start 3 -
Nick - I probably roll with Eli (altho I have Flac in a couple and am assuming a good game)
tj - the first 3 me tinks
I need a little outside perspective.
Rank these guys from here on out in a PPR:
Foster/S-Jax/Charles/Hillis/McFadden/Bush -
1 PPR:
Thomas Jones (Ind)
Felix Jones (Ten)
Jerry Jones said they're going to start using Felix Jones more and they are up against one of the worst run defenses, but do you just take his word on it and start him?
1 PPR:
Mike Williams (Cin)
Mike Sims-Walker (Buf)
Jax made it their business in week 2 to get MSW the ball after he got shutout in week 1. I've heard similar gameplans regarding this week. When coupled with the significantly easier matchup, I'm kind of tempted to start MSW.
Thoughts on both? -
Visanthe Shiancoe (questionable for Monday night @ Jets) or Chris Ivory (@ Arizona)?
-
Tolbert or Torain
Braylon or Harvin
Orton or Favre -
PPR Start 2 RB - 3 WR
Make this move? (WR's after White are LOL)
Trade Foster and Maclin FOR Austin (+potential throw in Stewart/C.Taylor/Scott)
Remaining RB's: S-Jax/Charles/Hillis/both OAK -
IDP 1/.5 tackles, 4 int, 4 sack, 1 pd, 2 ff/fr
because byes here's my defenders. we start 2 DBs, DLs, and LBs
DL- Calais Campbell, James Hall
DB- Louis Delmas, Brian Dawkins
LB- Paul Posluszny, Paris Lenon
there are still some good IDP possibilities on the FA list. should any of these guys replace mine for week 5?
DLs- Juqua Parker, Will Smith, Charles Johnson, Ray Edwards, Chris Kelsay
DBs- Dawan Landry, Eric Weddle, eric Berry
LBs- Barrett Ruud, Jonathan Vilma, EJ Henderson, David Harris -
Sit/Start Week 5
Edited By: Rocky Oct 10th, 2010 at 01:16 AM
Well, we are already in Week 5 of the NFL season and the silly season never ceases to amaze me. With one of the biggest (and quickest) trades in recent memory, Randy Moss( as you may have heard :)), is back with the Vikings looking to take Brad Childress' "ALL -IN" campaign all the way this year. Lets take a look this weeks sit/starts to help your fantasy team all the way this year
START
Fred Jackson- Playing a horrible Jaguars def giving up an average 17 fantasy points to opposing running backs and the departure of Marshawn Lynch makes this an interesting. Anyone remember the first three games of 2009 where Fred Jackson filled in for the then suspended Marshawn Lynch???? I do.. Start him.
Ryan Matthews- This is the week Matthews rewards his owners with HUGE points. He is facing the worst team in terms of points allowed to opposing running backs, The Oakland Raiders, who give up on average 27.5 fantasy points. Last week against Houston, Arian Foster (after missing a quarter of play), torched the Raiders easily for over 30 fantasy points. Tolbert is also a good flex play this week too. Get them in your lineup .
Steven Jackson- Up against a horrible Lions run defense who let Lesean McCoy run/catch screen passes ALLLL over them and give up an average 26 fantasy points to opposing running backs, Steven Jackson should go OFFFFF!! Also add that Sam Bradford is playing awesome and stretching opposing defenses out which should give Jackson additional running room. GET HIM IN YOUR LINEUP!
Sam Bradford- Have a QB on a bye-week? No worries, Sam Bradford's transition into the pro ranks has been nothing short of spectacular. He is averaging 17 points per game and he is getting better and better each week. The Lions are allowing an average of 17.5 fantasy points to opposing qbs. This may be the week Bradford snaps off his first 300 yard passing of many in his promising career. Get him in your lineup!
Beanie Wells- I feel like the week Wells explodes is near, and with a matchup against a woeful saints run def that gives up an average 24.5 points to opposing rbs, this week may be the week. Look, I know he has been disappointing up to this point, but its only a matter of time before he goes off. Get him in your lineup.
Jamaal Charles- Playing a horrible Indy run def that gives up an average 21.3 fantasy points, Charles should be super effective, even if only given 10-15 touches. This might be one of those games for Charles where he breaks off a couple HUGE plays. Start him in all formats.
Cedric Benson-Playing a horrible Tampa team giving up 18 fantasy points a week to opposing rbs, this may be Bensons first 100 yard game. Definitely a start given Bucs struggles on both sides of the ball.
Larry Fitzgerald- Good News- Derek Anderson has been benched for Rookie Max Hall. Bad news- Rookie qb is starting :) Look, Derek Anderson is sooooo terrible anyone is an upgrade and playing a Saints team that has been struggling in the secondary, look for Hall to look towards Fitz early and often.
Mark Clayton- See Sam Bradford above.
SIT
Javivd Best- The match up is great. The turf toe situation isnt. Last week vs. Green Bay he looked less agile and was obviously ailing from his injury. Need to wait and see how he progresses from his injury before he is in yourl lineup.
Malcom Floyd- Going up against Black Death,Nnamdi Asomugha, look for Rivers to target Gates much more frequently and steer clear of Asomugha. SIIIIITTTTTTT
Kyle Orton- I know its hard to bench Orton who has been so awesome, but against the Ravens who are giving up an average 5 points to opposing QBs you may want to look for better options (See Sam Bradford).
Bruce Gradkowski- Chargers are giving up the second fewest number of points to opposing qbs behind the Ravens at 5.3 fantasy points. Better options should be availabe to you..
Tony Gonzalez-Up against a Cleveland Browns defense only allowing an average of 3.8 points to opposing TE and the likelihood Matt Ryan continues to push ball upfield to his favorite target "Hot-Roddy" Roddy White, dont expect much from TG.
Brandon Lloyd- See Kyle Orton
Ray Rice- A few weeks ago this would have seemed crazy but lets face it, he has been terrible, and up against the Broncos who are only giving up 8 fantasy points to opposing rbs, expect another terrible outing for RR.
That's it for this weeks edition of Sit/Start. Your player(s) not mentioned here??? No problem, just join our forums and ask our panel of fantasy experts your question and we will answer. Also, on game day you can use our live chat feature where our experts will be live to answer your questions. Good Luck!

thomas jones against indy or matt forte against caolina?
pick my 3 recievers: dez bryant vs tenessee, braylan edwards vs minny, santana moss vs GB, desean jackson vs SF -
I get to start Michael Bush since Pierre Thomas is out.
For my flex position which would have been nice to have Pierre for, I have to choose 1:
Mike Sims-Homosexual @ BUF
Beanie Wells vs. NO
Devery Hnederson @ ARI
Help? -
start any MICHIGAN ST alum you can.....we win games
-
This league is no PPR, standard scoring; 1QB, 2RB, 2WR, Flex, TE, D/ST.
I kind of want to trade Matt Ryan and Bradshaw or Rice for Drew Brees.
I have:
QB: Matt Ryan, Jay Cutler, Matt Cassel
RB: Rashard Mendenhall, Ray Rice, Ahmad Bradshaw, Ryan Mathews, Jonathan Stewart
WR: Roddy White, Larry Fitzgerald, Mario Manningham, Dwayne Bowe
TE: Tony Gonzalez
K: Neil Rackers
D/ST: Titans
I want to sacrifice some at RB to improve my QB situation, and I'm pretty much ****ed week 8, I have 7 players on bye week.
Is this terrible or do I have enough flexibility to make a bad trade and still improve my team (at least my starters)?
Mendenhall would seal this deal, could I sell high on him? -
Because of injury, I must start one of these bums at my flex. Who is it?
.5 ppr
Crabtree vs Philly
Betts at Arizona (who I may need to start anyway if Mccoy cant play)
Demariyus Thomas @ Bal
Garcon vs KC
Massaqoui vs Atl
I dunno if McCoy can do anything with a cracked rib so should I start Betts over him to begin with? Sigh. -
benson or LT?
shaincoe or Winslow? -
LT, Shiancoe
RB2 today, no PPR.
Matthews @ OAK
Spiller vs JAX
Maroney @ BAL -
spiller hasn't shown much and maroney is still maroney. even with shared time i think matthews is your best play.
flex option, no ppr:
Walter (vs G-MEN)
forte (vs CAR) -
Betts
Edited By: jtown1010 Oct 10th, 2010 at 03:44 PM
LT, Shiancoe
Mathews
Forte -
Anyone know the latest new on mccoy or collie?
-
since forte is the better play should i start walter or colston?
• LeSean McCoy(notes) had a full practice Friday and is expected to start Sunday night at San Francisco despite his broken rib. No one can say if he can tolerate the pain and take a full workload on game day, but the Eagles seem to be encouraged here.
Austin Collie(notes) (foot/questionable) will probably be a game-time decision. He took some Friday reps after sitting out earlier in the week but he's no sure thing to play. -
Colston for sure imo, that New York pass rush is looking scary, it's going to be tough for recievers to run complete routes on them, opposing QB's are under so much pressure.
Edited By: jtown1010 Oct 10th, 2010 at 04:05 PM
Arizona is 23rd in the league against the pass. Colston should be a very good play this week imo. -
Is Jerome Harrison gonna get in the game today?
Edited By: kellykip Oct 10th, 2010 at 03:59 PM
Reason: James Jerome or something
